  1. Here's a short clip of my hood and taillights. https://youtu.be/GCDphd8I5a8
  2. I have the the LED tails and hoodscoop. You'll be very happy with all of it. The hood blinkers stand out much better than original, just a cool feature that most don't have. I get a lot of compliments on them.
  3. Agree with the rest. Though Black Jade is pretty awesome! Highland green also looks really good on a 69-70 and isn't used very much.
  4. I wish I saw this kit a few years ago when I converted my entire car to LEDs. I like the boards being used in the other locations besides the tail lights. You will certainly be glad you converted. They are very bright.
  5. Heck yeah! I'm never near anyone offering deals like that though.
  6. Are you talking the one piece molded headliner? Heck yeah, I want one! And the new dash!
  7. I powder coated mine, so never a worry for the future.
  8. 15x7. If I recall correctly they are 235/60. Has coilovers up front and mid-eye leafs out back.
  9. I've used the NPD flaps on all for corners for several years. No issues. They just mount on in 2 seconds and you can remove them whenever you want in 2 seconds. They almost look stock.
  10. Yes, a/c compressor worked when removed. I just swapped to a sanden system for weight savings.
  11. I have an original a/c compressor and lines (I think), but it would probably be expensive to ship because of the weight. I'm willing to look into it if you're interested.
  12. http://1969stang.com/forum/index.php?/topic/44320-coupe-restomod/ Trying to find the pictures from my project thread. Thanks.
  13. Looks good. Make sure the alignment stays as they dry. If your adhesive is cold from being shipped I would let it sit inside for a day. If it is anything like I used it is very thick. And yes, it is a total mess. Wear some rubber gloves and don't have anything nearby you might accidentally damage.
  14. If you do want some 1/4" spacers let me know. I switched to a coilover so I don't need them anymore. Will sell them for $10. They are the Mr. Gasket brand.
  15. The 3M stuff is great. Also, the flaps sold by NPD work really well. I've used both and in fact the combination of the two would be great peace of mind.
  16. If you have aftermarket arms they tend to have more material and you can grind it down. I had to do that. I have 4.25 bs all around and had to add 1/4" spacers up front, running 15x7 with 235-60, so same as you. Same tire as well.
  17. Read my link. You have to put in some rubber or something on both sides of the window to center it.
  18. FWIW, this is a link to a thread where I tried to talk someone through the process after doing my windows. I've have no problems. http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/626914-1970-glue-glass-inside-shell-out.html
  19. Great story! Now show us the pics...see the trend? :)
  20. Those sure look original to me. Those fit perfectly against the body. I know NPD used to have a large stock of NOS parts and would often send them off without charging extra. I've seen them advertise this for specific parts when they are nearly out of stock of NOS. I think this is a much more rare occurrence as their NOS stock has been used up. Either that or NPD has a very special manufacturer sourcing these. I can't remember where I got mine from. I do know that if there is higher quality repop on the market NPD will sell it. You get what you pay for from them.
  21. Sorry, I tossed my repops and bought some OEM. There seemed to be about a 25% difference in thickness and in weight. The OEMs feel heavier and don't feel like if they are held from one end they will crease in the middle. The repops feel like they would bend in half if I sneezed on them. The lack of the curve on the front end is very noticeable.
  22. The repops are a much thinner metal and they don't fit flush against the car. The front part that curves a tiny bit is not present.
  23. Yep, the repops suck. Keep looking for some originals. They are out there.
  24. I added the Mach 1 scoop to my coupe (I like the turn signals) and a blackout hood. Couldn't be more happy as I think the coupe is a little boring otherwise. When I was doing my research I discovered a lot of people had problems with the aftermarket Mach scoops, so I found a good used original scoop. I bought the components and stuff from NPD. Just FYI is you go that route.
  25. When you do the Borgeson install make sure you use a stock version of the idler arm. Some of the return to center issue can be attributed to people using a roller idler arm. I think you'll be very happy with the setup.
