  1. I just redid this same wiring. Can someone tell me which wire goes to front/back of the micro switch? One is light green and one is dark green.
  2. I had this exact setup on my car for 20 years prior to going to coilovers. I loved it, highly recommend.
  3. I've got some Scott Drake window crank knobs if you need those.
  4. Do you have a lower steering column cover with intact tabs? How about a-pillar trim covers? What shape is the little curved chrome piece that goes on the back lower outside of the quarter windows? What color is the interior?
  5. If I remember correctly from when I did mine those ears grab on from the inside (like how your arms hold you up if you were hanging from a hole) and prevent the assembly from falling inside. When you put the bolt in everything gets snugged up since the entire assembly is too big to fit through the opening.
  6. Thanks. I sent an email. Might be too late but worth asking.
  7. Someone please help me get one. I've found a couple but they looked too rusty. I emailed a place that sells NOS parts but they haven't returned my email. Waiting on one more source.
  8. Not sure if it matters, car is p/s, p/b, a/c. Needs to have the bracket at the top that has the bolt hole. Thanks.
  9. Still need to get rid of the Excels. Make a reasonable offer.
  10. "Ken Sousa was able to duplicate the stripes in his shop" His profile and a way to contact him: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/member6164-ragtop.html I believe this is his FB profile: https://www.facebook.com/ken.sousa.33 Here is the actual thread on that car talking about the stripes. Get in touch with the owner: http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/527707-grande-stripes.html More threads: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/1969-mustang-grande/52332/page1/ Describes the stripes: http://phscollectorcarworld.blogspot.com/2012/11/1969-mustang-stripepaint-schemes.html I'm assuming you probably have seen some of that, but Google is your friend and yes, the internet can be dangerous!! If that fails, contact these folks. They make a good product. Maybe they can do something based on the pictures. http://www.graphic-express.com/home
  11. Ah, thanks. That's a good deal but I guess I'll have to pass.
  12. Is the windshield OEM? If so, I'm interested. Any difference between coupe/fastback windshields?
  13. Everything was for my '69 coupe, but I'm pretty sure these fit most 65-70. The Excel-G/GR2s are basically brand new. Maybe 100 miles, if that. I bought them to replace the Gas-A-Just and then when my steering went south I replaced everything with coilovers and Bilsteins. I also damaged the rears a bit during removal, but now I know better, sorry. $75+shipping. Plus one set of shock tower caps. I believe they are OEM. I never replaced them and I'm the 2nd owner of the car. $20+shipping.
  14. And if you really want to go all out, add their floating 9" rear end and the rear 3-link system! Look around their website, lots of fun stuff to spend money on.
  15. They are specifically tuned to the coilover system by Shaun and his guys at StreetorTrack for the application you want (race, sport or street). I chose street. http://www.streetortrack.com/Street-or-Track-Front-Coilover-System-pr-24491.html You can also choose the application for the rear. http://www.streetortrack.com/Shock-Absorbers-c-466.html
  16. I've had 4 types on my car over the years and my car is just a cruiser: Stock: prior to any suspension upgrades, was ok KYB Gas-A-Just: Put this on with all new steering and suspension. Handled well but was rough on bumps GR2: Too soft, felt stockish and bouncy Bilstein: Added with front coilovers and also on the rear. A perfect ride. I couldn't be happier. Soft when it needs to absorb bumps and firm in the turns.
  17. I bought a friend's high school car, a '66 Mustang coupe with I6 and no options but it had been redone to a pretty good condition. In '91 I paid $2k for it. I sold it a couple years later for the same $2k. My next car was the '69 coupe I currently own and will never get rid of. My wife and I dated in that car and we've worked on it together this entire time. In fact, I thought about selling it a couple times and she wouldn't let me. I guess that's why I married her.
  18. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/classic-mustang-sale-classifieds/902793-69-70-complete-ac-setup.html This guy is selling the whole kit for $350. Snag it while you can.
  19. Street or track on mine. Super easy to install. I went with the street valving. Also have the same on the rear. Great ride.
  20. Do you have a lower steering column cover with all tabs intact? What color is the interior?
