  1. Let's see...where to begin and still keep this short. I bought my 1970 convertible in 2006 and started the thread below when I began working on the car in 2007. Original Project Thread Then, my company moves me from Ohio to Chandler Arizona, along with my car in pieces. New/additional work responsibilities, growing family, cruddy economy, and all of my help living back east meant that my Stang just sat in the garage. Well, enough is enough!! I just needed to accept that I don't and won't have the time, and if I want to drive it before I die, I have to farm out much of the work I (with some help) planned on doing to the car back east. With a new approach, and a change of my restoration plans, why not a new thread to chronicle the build? So, here it is after digging it out of my garage, getting it ready to haul off to the shop. My next post will outline the basic plan.
  2. Not to hi-jack the thread, but what sound deadening material are you using (see it in the photo)? Thanks. I'll post my before & after shots this spring
  3. Looked pretty clean on the BBB. Basically, they seem really nice/great when I talked with them...hid nothing and gladly showed me around a while back, and have quality rides there, on display elsewhere and in mags...and repeat work done with customers with some top end cars. To be honest, I haven't seen anything to alarm me or be concerned about...and generally have really good vibes about the place and the group; however, before I plunk a big chunk of change down, I feel compelled to ask just in case I miss something.
  4. Has anyone here ever dealt with Randy and the gang at The Mustang Shop in Chandler AZ? I've seen some of their rides featured in some mags...but am curious if anyone has any first hand experience with him and his work. Thanks!
