  1. Check out NPD`s dual masterpump. I have been told it works quite well. It is told to be so good that it eliminates the need for a power booster. Go to http://npd.dirxion.com/Main.asp and page 63. Maybe that is something for you.
  2. At least our roads are more fun to drive, with mountains and fjords:tt2: and I forgot to say that road tax is about 80$ a year and insurance about 110$ a year on my classic car, but with a limit on 8000km, or about 5000 miles. On Regular daily cruisers we do not talk about it. 1800$ in insurance with 75% bonus from the insurance company.
  3. Oh yes, that is what they say, but to start with buying a new car, let us use a new shelby Mustang. US price is 50 - 60k$. When adding norwegian taxes it will in Norway cost approximately 300k$. Just laugh, I am not kidding. The Ford dealer do not import Mustangs at all, it is only private import. Then we have a yearly road tax about 650$ for one car. We have a lot of toll roads around the country. Goverment tax on petrol is about 60%. That is only what the stat takes, then it is insurance+++. And the standard of norwegian roads is not as good as you think. We are ecstatic when we drive roads abroad because they are so much wider and better than here. To take a funny example: a friend of mine had his cousin from Portland, USA on a visit. When driving to the summer house, he thought it was going a little bit fast because the road was quite narrow and there was lot of holes in the asphalt. But he was not really scared before they met another car around a turn. Then he said, Oh, my God, I thought this was a one way drive!
  4. Hello, I miss one of these in my windowmechanism in one door. Can anyone help me. Can pay with PayPal or wiretransfer. You will have to send it to Norway. Please:helpsmilie:
  5. I did not mean to upset anyone, but the last trick from our goverment is even worse. They used two years two lead the citizens to buy diesel cars, and now they found out it was worse than gasoline. So thay have raised roadtax and dieselprices so it is now more expensive to drive than petrol. Do you think we are happy with our red/green goverment:euro: Just wait to my Mustang is on the road slurping 99 octane:punk:
  6. You have nothing to complain about, here in Norway it is getting close to 10,5$ a gallon and rising:scared:. And we are supposed to be one of the biggest oilproducing countries in the world. Govermentenvironmentalmyass:asshole::huh:
  7. Sorry, forgot that answer. It has standard light blue bucket interior and white top and I will keep it that way for now. There might be some changes in interior later, but not this year
  8. Most of the car was sprayed today, so we can start the assembly, get the hood, valances and trunk next week. But this is a step closer to the road after 2,5 years:001_rolleyes:
  9. Looks like I am finally first in line at last. Will there be a new shade of winther blue tomorrow:sweatdrop::shifty:
  10. Actually I got a mail back yesterday a few hours after I sent one. It came from Rick at CJ, the same guy as I spoke with last week. Now he had much better information than they have given me before. They had an ETA of the last part, of course one of the most important ones the 21st. And he promised to keep an eye on my order and keep me updated:-)
  11. Still have not heard anything from CJ and there have been no redrawal yet from my credit card account:sad:. Getting a little tired and frustrated by them. Sent them a new mail now were I explained in a kind way excactly what I feel about their way of threating their customers, or is it me there is something wrong with:santa:. Hope they can give me some real answer soon.
  12. If you want to delete it, you have a little bit of work to do. It is a shaping behind the panel that you will have to do something with to make it look proper.
  13. Called them tonight, was told that it was one or two days away from shipping. Was sorry that I had not got any reply, said it might be their spam filters did not let my mail through, but it worked when we tested. Why did they not reply then, lazinness......:-)
  14. That is okay, but two weeks and two mails later I would expect a reply, but I have heard nothing, so from now on I probably will stick to NPD who I have been very satisfied with.
  15. Thanks for the info, I will mail them again and ask, stay friendly in the mail. That is often the best:-). I always been very satisfied with NPD and I am curious about their new webshop, it looks very good:-). Allthough I can not enjoy the free shipping since I live abroad:-l
  16. Hello, just wondering if anyone has any experience with the company CJ Ponyparts. They have adds in Mustang Monthly and other magazines, so I placed an order at their netshop almost two weeks ago. Got an automatic confirmation from the webshop and then nothing. Sent them a mail monday morning just to get an update on eventually backorders and estimated date for shipping since I wanted the order complete before shipping. Have not got any reply............ I have ordered stuff from NPD, Summit, Steeda, TMI, Scat and other companies in the US earlier and the service by mail corresspondence has been very good. With CJ it is like they do not even check their mail, have I just been unlucky, have not enough patience or are they not serious? I am not mad or anything yet, I just want some feedback on the status of my order.............
  17. To be honest, I am not sure. Most of the chassis work has been done by a friend of mine, but the yellow is a watertight epoxyprimer and the black coating is a stoff called powercoat and is classified to meet the standards for the oil rigs in the north sea. So hopefully this pony will not rust again in my lifetime:001_smile:
  18. Just two months after sandblasting I am hopefully one step closer to the road. This weekend we will teststart the engine for the very first time. Exhaust and most of the electronics was ready last weekend, and my friend Tor did an awesome job with the exhaust. Making a nice 2,5" exhaust hidden under a convertible is not easy. Counted 27 welded bends:001_rolleyes: Can almost not wait for the weekend:001_smile:
