  1. There were no V8 2 door Explorers, Ford never put a V8 in the 2 door Explorers, just the 4 doors.
  2. As I stated in my post above from Dec. 2020 I used an aluminum driveshaft from an Explorer had it shortened & installed it in my 69 Coupe behind a T-5 trans mated to a midly built 5.0.
  3. You should swap over to the 1970 bolt in glass, that is what I am doing.
  4. It may be a silly question but do you have the headlight extension wires for the 69 Mustang headlights like in the attached link?. I think you are missing them. Mustang Headlight Extension Wire 1969 | CJ Pony Parts BTW that is a beautiful blue, is that a Ford color?.
  5. Who are you calling old? Oh wait I resemble that remark. LOL :)
  6. My 69 Coupe has the light also.
  7. All that did was muddy the waters.
  8. Looks GREAT! Looks like the color of my 2000 Ranger.
  9. Good progress. I dumped the fake side vents on my 69 Coupe & used Shelby Vert scoops instead.
  10. Thanks Staffy, I sent him an e mail about them.
  11. That sucks Brian, so sorry you got taken.
  12. Looks great. Where did you get the curved tail light lens from?.
  13. I am going to run the wiring to the T-5 trans like the factory did down the outside of the firewall.
  14. On my 69 Coupe I am going to run the wires to the T-5 trans in a harness cover down the firewall to the trans.
  15. Vic, I do not know if it makes a difference but my 69 Coupe has 2 torsion bars for the trunk.
  16. Nice work Vic. That is one serious rivnut tool. I have a smaller rivnut tool that looks like a pop rivet gun & it works for what I need it for.
  17. Thanks Vic, no tax for us. According to our lawyer since I am over 62 I do not have to pay. So far so good with the house, we are about 15 minutes from the North Carolina boarder, & about 1 hour north of Greensboro, NC.
  18. Here is a better picture to show where I mounted the relay block & the electric fuel pump inertia cutoff switch. I am using a trans tunnel mounted parking brake so I made a bracket & mounted the relays & the cutoff switch where the foot brake originally mounted.
  19. Today after replacing the serpentine belt on my 00 Ranger we put my Mustang & my wife's motorcycle in the carport & called it quits for the day.
  20. Yes, we are planning on having a 2 car garage put up to the left of the carport.
  21. We arrived here on the 8/15 & the movers arrived on the 17th with the rest of our stuff. After unpacking a lot of boxes for almost two weeks, all the boxes on the first floor are unpacked, not counting the boxes in the basement. Now the house feels like our home now with all of our stuff here.
