Hi, I had my original front drum brakes converted to disc brakes. I bought the kit and had it installed by a local shop. The mechanic has worked on Mustangs for 50 years.
Breaks work fine but when I left the shop, I had no 2nd gear! I have a 3speed automatic and it now completely skips 2nd gear. I brought it back for a check. He said 2nd gear may have something to do with front breaks, vacuum and power brake master but the mechanic couldn’t fix it.
Coincidence that my transmission started to fail after I had the breaks done or did something go wrong at the shop?
