Those look real nice, and comfortable! Hmm... Just what I need, another project changing something that doesn't need fixed.

Ok, just thinking out loud here...
Your wheels look too small compared to the wheel wells.
I ride with 15’ Torq Trust rims and 235/60r15 tires. Total wheel diameter is 66,3 cm and the wheel size looks like it fits the wheel well (see pic).
What tires size do you have on that pic? Do you know the total diameter of your wheels?
It’s like  the tire walls are too thin. If that’s the look you’re into, may be 18 or 19 rims would fit better? Or stick with 17’ but with higher walls.

Cool project.  Going to be a fun ride with that motor in it.  Looking forward to updates.

Pic of the parade laps. I've driven this track in true high-speed events a few times but never been on it with the Mustang. It was still fun for me but my friend, who was in the car with me, had never put a foot on any kind of track was over the moon. Watching him was more fun than the drive itself . Funny thing was I offered to let him drive and he declined saying he'd never been in a race before! LOL!

    Hi All,
Well I was going to paint my 69 Mustang another color, but after the vote on here, I decided to keep it original paint, thanks for your comments.
And was going to buy another 69 fastback and paint that instead but decided not to have 2 Mustangs.
So bought another classic car instead, a mint and original 1970 Dodge Challenger 340 4 Barrel Performance Pack A66.
    Hope you think it's ok:

Working on putting a Unisteer R&P in.  Unfortunately the box is missing some parts and has some of the wrong parts.  So I get to call them tomorrow and see what can be done.  Also replaced the motor mounts because they looked suspect.

Welcome to the site and nice progress on the 69.

Coupe looks badass too.  That is my second favorite body style, next to the 69.

I ended up with the Dakota Digital VHX.  With the 4 pods being used, It has 6 gauges, for Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Gas and Voltage.  The back light is great and no issues with visibility and they have worked great.

I will see if I can get a pic soon, one thing I realized  I don't have a good picture of.

Terribly sorry for your loss.  7- years old is too young.  That is a very difficult heart breaking situation.  Large dogs are great companions and it sometimes seems they bond with their families more so than small dogs.  I've been there 4 times with Golden Retrievers.  Three when they were young, 8 and 9 years old due to cancer.  But, I keep getting another one.  You never forget them but the pain will go away with time.

The '65 went home as it was more of a suspension re--do. Very nice car with some questionable parts thrown at it. It got a bunch of SoT front suspension goodies along with some new wheels.

I’ve been running the FiTech unit for a short time. Pretty happy with it and are still dialing it in.
If you have any exhaust / intake leaks it won’t matter what brand you run your gonna have issues.
You only have to jump on the sniper or FiTech Facebook pages to see both are having issues . But remember most people only post that are having issues and are looking to get help and you don’t see all the people that are happy with them.  If it wasn’t for company’s like FiTech we would still be paying 3k or more for these tba units.
I went in tank pump and love it. Cold starts are great. Even after a month sitting idle it starts first time . Way better than the edelbrock carb I was running.

    Much smoother with Bilstein's.

SM69Mach reacted to Kyle T in Retrofitting manual rack and pinion
I went with the power rack by Unisteer.  It was the single best improvement I have ever done to the car in terms of making it more more fun to cruise around in.  Very easy to install too.  Only a little grinding.
Some will be quick to let you know that the rack will reduce your turning radius but I'm here to tell you that it still turns a lot sharper than my new F150!  Now that thing is annoying in parking lots.

To each his own.  You are certainly in the minority, but there are some badass coupes out there for sure.   By no means do I think any of them are ugly.
I prefer the sportsroof over the coupe for the 69-70, but like the 67-68 coupes better than the fastbacks.
