Hoping to catch a couple of stops, Probably Rockingham and Charlotte.  Don't have any advice for Long Haulers, but there are some groups on FB that talk about this very thing, if you are on FB.

I just bought 15x10 rear wheels with 275/60 drag radials.  The car has a 1" lowering block in the pictures, so that's probably going to have to come out to gain some clearance.  Stock 9" rearend and caltracs. (Not installed yet.)  The fronts are skinnies.

I have Fitech on my set up.  I had an external pump initially and it kept getting too hot and would vapor lock, so I switched to an intank pump Stealth setup from Aeromotive.  I did the drip in style and used a stock tank.  Have had no issues since.  There can be issues with either holley or Fitech, just make sure its installed as directed. The main issue I had with mine was RPM noise.  But that is resolved now and it runs really good.  Forums and Facebook groups have been very helpful and a lot of good info (if you can get past all the bitching).

There are a lot of good options out there so good luck.  Just sharing my experience.

I have done a couple coupe restomods that started as "T" Code (6 cylinder) coupes.  The last one I did was my '68, and it was in great shape with around 190,000 miles on it.  Did a modern powertrain, reverted back to edlebrock high rise with holley, used upgraded stock (opentracker) suspension components, 4 wheel disc brakes, 3.73 Explorer Rear, T-5Z trans, power steering.  It is a blast to drive, looks great, and didn't cost a fortune.  The coupes are great cars.  Nothing special or exotic, but fun.

I have Street or Track Coil over set up as well.  Also have the Unisteer Power steering set up and very happy with all of it. Either way, I would suggest call Shaun at Street or Track and talk to him.  Great guy and knows his stuff and will not pressure you at all to buy his stuff, only provide you the info to make your decision.

    Good luck.

I run a similar set up on my car.  I have the 13 in rotor with Bullitt/Cobra caliper.  Running the stock booster and master cylinder and just put a proportioning valve in the rear as I am running disc in the rear as well.   I know Street or Track has hardware to bolt that up to your spindle if you needed.

Hey Noah, welcome to the site.  Sounds like you are building a beast.  What are you going to be doing with the car, cruising, drag racing, auto cross?  That might be helpful to know.   Also, any time anyone asks about suspension I recommend they call and talk to Shaun at Street or Track.  He is great to talk to, very knowledgeable and no pressure to buy his stuff.  He will just give you the info you need for you to decide.  Plus his product are top notch.  I am running his front set up and disc spindles on my car.  Have no complaints.
Keep the updates coming and progress pics are always welcome!

You're more than welcome.  It is often that another set of eyes/mindset can troubleshoot things better than the one experiencing the problem.
The main reason why I am on this and other forums, as well as my wiring refurbishment business, is that I really enjoy trouble-shooting from a distance.  Having a detached perspective (e.g. a dirty mind laying in the gutter) and helping people out gives me great satisfaction out of life.  That, and a good brand of whiskey...

agreed, I tried to base my wheel setup on this chart when I started to pick out wheels and tire combos, but soo many ppl had different set ups, its hard to collect that much data as every year a new kit would appear.
Im happy with my setup 18x9/10 245/40 275/40 with SOT Front Coil Overs and Grab-A-Track 4.5 Mid Eye leafs with Vintage Venom's brake kit:

Agree 100% with this.  I personally talked to Shaun multiple times before deciding to buy from him, and have heard the same about John and Sherri.  Shaun talked through all of the options, multiple times and I never once felt I was being sold or pushed to anything I didn't want.  I ended up with his full coilover setup with Street valving and Unisteer PS and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.  Can't go wrong with either option and for sure they will have something to fit whatever budget you have!

Coilovers i would look at Street or Track, Shaun is great to deal with he develops and uses what he sells.
Upgraded stock style you can also look at Street or Track or Opentracker Racing, John and Sherri are both great to deal with.  Give either ORP or SorT a call and talk to them about what you are trying to accomplish with your car.  They won't steer you wrong and won't over sale you something you don't need just to make a buck.

Didn't mean to give you more work, HAHA.  Good thing is, its not a hard job!  I am very happy and actually feel safer on the road, as I have heard many stories of people not being able to see the brake lights on our older cars.
