Sorry to hear about this. Those pictures are hard to look at, I can only imagine how you feel. Glad no one was injured, and sorry you weren't able to save your rides.
Good luck on moving forward.

I got my set up from Modern Driveline and really happy with it.

That is pretty cool looking. Thanks for sharing.

Holy Crap. That is crazy. Hope you can get it resolved with the first shop. It's unbelievable the amount of dirty people out there.
Glad you were able to get the trans issue fixed. Hope you have good results with the mis-fire situation.
Good luck!

Are you bottoming out on the bump stops?

I agree with the above. I have a similar set up with SoT Cobra Conversion set up and 17X8 and 18X10 Bullitt wheels. With as low as my car is I don't have any rubbing. I am running a 1 inch spacer on the front because of the BS of the wheels, but have ran it that way for years with no issues.

That looks great. Nice job.

I can't really offer any advice to help as there are a lot smarter people in this thread than me, but wishing you good luck in fixing this. Hope you get it squared away soon, as I know you seem to have caught the raw end of the deal a couple of times with this car.
Good luck!Scott

Yes, I have a vented cap and so far have seen no issues with pressure in the tank. The FP is mounted on the driver side frame rail near the muffler. We made a heat shield for it to protect it from the exhaust heat as well.

Hey great questions and sorry should have clarified.
I am running the FiTech external inline pump. I used their lines for the supply side and used the original supply line as the return line. I had a drain plug in the tank and just used that fitting for the return line back to the tank. I think I have seen where you don't have to run a return line, but I think that is where some of the problems come in. A lot of pumps are meant to run all the time and the on and off is what can wear them out.
When i first ran the car, the FP sounded loud, but as I have driven the car more it seems to have quieted some. It is not really any louder than my electric fan.

Same as Shep here, Love my FiTech.
I used their external fuel pump as I did not want to pull the truck all apart for a new tank if I could get what I had to work. So far it has been great. I agree with the lack of instruction on fine tuning, but the are some good threads out there with people willing to help, best one I found so far was on a chevelle forum, will try to find the link again and post it for any one interested. I did have a problem with my temp sensor, but replaced it with the a new one and works fine now. Good thing is they use GM sensors so its easy to get a hold of one. Computer is still learning driving habits and the more I drive it the better it gets. Not sure what your set up is, but in what I have read guys have had issues with larger cams and low vacuum and getting the unit to idle correctly out of the box. They are getting it figured out with manual tuning, but its not a straight out of the box plug it in a run. They still seem to be having issues with their Command Center fuel sump set up. From what I have read the pumps are over heating and burning up. There was talk of FiTech using a different pump to help, but not sure if that has been resolved or not. Lot of guys are going with sumped tanks as it is much quieter than an external pump.
Good luck and to me, one of my favorite upgrades.

DAMN that looks awesome!!!!!

I forgot to ask. What are the specifics on the motor?

I have Hooker super comp headers on my 390 , sound great but was not fun to get them off and on.
Same here!!! They are also not the best for ground clearance either. I had mine modified a bit at the collector to help a little. Depending on your setup, FPA makes a Tri-Y headers that should perform pretty well and give you a bit more clearance and headache.

I can't say anything about TCP yay or neh, but Shaun at Street or Track has excellent customer service. If I could have a do-over I would have purchased his front coil over kit.
I would highly recommend Shaun at Street or Track. I called him several times before ordering anything and he was awesome to talk with. Gave me many options to choose from and never pressured me to buy anything. Not only that, but his product is top notch. After the conversion, my car has never driven or ridden better.
I have nothing to say about TCP as they appear to have a great product and I have no personal experience with their company or product, but I know a lot of people like their product. I can only speak from personal experience in buying from Shaun. Great guy and highly recommend calling and talking to him before you do anything.
Good luck!

I went with the Unisteer set up on mine and have 0 regrets. Has great feel and quite honestly I can turn the car better now because of PS. I know a lot of guys talk about the decreased turning radius, but mine is better since I could not even turn the wheel without moving the car. Big Block and big tires and no power steering didn't help much.
Car feels much better now. Personally I would not go back to a steering box setup.
Lots of options out there, good luck.
