malcoll replied to malcoll's topic in Parts for Sale / Wanted

Do you have these available? If so, is your price $175 for both or each? Thank you, Lance

I have an entire kit of parts that were installed in my 1969 Mach 1 to convert it from an FMX Automatic to a Tremec 3550 manual transmission. I have the transmission, mount, bell housing, pro-5.0 shifter, engine plate, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, cable clutch kit, oem brake and clutch pedals.... entire kit. Asking $1,200 OBO, not including shipping. Pictures available on request. I am going back to an automatic overdrive transmission. Lance

Raising an old thread...but getting ready to collect the parts to put the 4r70w in my 1969 Mach 1. It's got a retrofitted Tremec 3550 ..... but came originally with the FMX. For those who finished this conversion, how has it held up?

Is this kit still available?

I have this setup in my 1969 Mach 1 now.... I am preparing to return to an automatic and will potentially be selling the manual trans parts/pieces. I don't know what these are selling for these days, but were a challenge to find 8 years ago when I swapped to a manual trans...... I believe this does have power brake pedal for manual trans... I am going to swap back the entire bracket with clutch and brake pedal....

Are these sold? If not I am very interested......but would need to ship them to Florida.... Do you have pictures of all four?

Two similar stories... in 1995 I had a chance to buy a 1969 Boss 429 for $27,000.... I passed...... in 2001 I had a chance to buy a 1968 GT 500 KR convertible 4spd a/c car for $45,000....I passed....I kept my 1969 Mach 1 that I've owned since 1994.....but imagine if I'd bought either of the other two..... ugh.

Was the Holley 600 factory stock for the 69 M code 351?
malcoll replied to tony 63C's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Make pony carburetors fix the 4300 so you have received what you paid for then put the 4300 in a box for the future and put a Holley on the engine to drive and enjoy.
