Yes it will fit. I am on my second RetroSound radio. I had a model 1 and had a speaker short and burnt the amp section out of it. Purchased a Malibu to replace it, the fit was 10x better. I also added a RetroSound Quad 4 Amplifier. Made a custom bracket and put it behind the pass side dash panel. Fit is good, also have A/C and had room.

Getting ready to change fluid / filter on my C4, 1969 version. Would like to go with a deeper pan. I noticed that on a 1970 and up that Mustang II and Bronco used a a deeper pan along with trans filters having a lower pick up. Would there be a problem not having an extended pickup if I went with a deeper pan without the deeper pickup filter? There are no extended pickup filters available to fit the 1969 valve body, just the 1970 and up.

Just installed a RetroSound Quad 4 amp. I connected it to a RetroSound Malibu radio. Had to get creative on where to put the amp, I ended up making brackets and put it behind the passenger side dash panel just above the A/C unit. The unit is fantastic, really brought radio to life. I put Tweeters in the old dash speaker frame, and have 4 x 6 speakers in the kick panel / vents with 6 x 9.in the trap door (previously cut before I got it). Also a hats off to Dan at Chocko Stang on the box rebuild, he did an excellent job and much less than a aftermarket replacement. About a 5 day turnaround.
