  1. That’s great! Yes lots of variation and I think I will do exactly like you suggested. Once I get the floor in it’s rough position I will put the floor supports under (measured 6” to the jig datum) and that should give me a pretty darn good location of the body/rocker angle! Thanks again for taking the time to get those measurements!
  2. Ya that would work! If you could get a pic of where you’re measuring that would be awesome!
  3. Yes now you can see my situation and I’m stumped! Sure I would appreciate any measurements you could get! I might just have to do what you said and rebuild the cowl and kick panels then set the floor in on top of the frame supports. I’m just nervous as a few miss measurements here will throw off my front aprons/frame rail quite a lot.
  4. Aslanefe Yes I’ve looked at quite a few of your posts regarding this ( a few times lol ) My main problem is I built the frame jig and rear frame rails and floor on the jig all to the liskey drawings. I figured I’d just drop my shell onto the completed floor assy and attach the outer rockers to the inners. But I noticed my floor is quite flimsy without being attached to the inner rockers. I did have the front frame supports set to X-6. I don’t have the inner rockers welded to the rear torque boxes yet so I can raise and lower the front of the car quite abit. Thought if I could get rocker measurements it would help locate the shell onto the floor. Maybe I’m just going about this wrong? I will attach a few pics.
  5. Yup frame jig is measured out with lazer to about 1/8 so I’m not worried about that. Just looking for a few measurements down to the datum line if somebody has there’s on a jig.
  6. Hello there! Is there anybody who has their 69/70 mustang up on a frame jig and using the liskey measurements? I’m trying to line up my body with the floor and the front frame supports out. I’m looking for the front and rear corner of the rocker pinchweld to datum measurements to get me into the ballpark. I’ve got the rear frame rails and trunk floor set into the jig but just trying to figure out the inner rocker panel angle. I know I’m going about this kinda backwards but I’m kinda stuck. I will attach a pic for reference of where I’d like to get the measurements. Thanks
  7. Ah thanks i was assuming the inner rockers were vertical but on a slight angle makes sense!
  8. Thanks! I will be getting a build thread going soon with lots of pics! Yes the car has been in a few good accidents over the years and the one that took it off the road for good took most the front end off. Im estimating that happened sometime in the late 80s and then it was left for dead. The car is stripped and just a shell now but i did set new rear frame rails to my jig. The center to center measurement was 37 3/4 when i welded up my jig and the rear one piece trunk floor. But today i noticed the stamped hole in my drivers side (dynacorn) frame rail is not in the center so i moved that rail in approx 3/8". The pass side torque box was welded alittle funny so i also tweaked that giving me another bit of room. Now I'm at 54 3/4 between the inner rockers at the rear. Time to move to the front!
  9. Hey there! I'm working on the floor of my 69 today trying to finish up a few things and does anybody have measurements between the inner rockers? I know the drawing out there show 54 3/4 but I'm pretty far off. I've got a rear measurement of 55 3/4 and the front is 54. I will see if i can attach the pics.
