Boy that motor turns up quick, much quicker than mine. It might be just the tires breaking loose lol. It sounds great, enjoy the payoff!

That's it, the "action" is much smoother than the original.

Sweet looking Stang!

I bought some small hose and split it with a razor knife and pushed it onto the perimeter of the scoop. It looks great and protects the paint!

4.5 will work, 4.75 will work better.

turning fresh air vents into speaker pods
chillininnh replied to chillininnh's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Sure, sealing it up would probably help the sound. Foam may not be a bad idea as well. -
I love my TCP manual rack. The steering is high effort in parking situations but it's no big deal to me. I'm running 245/45 tires in the front which doesn't help. The road feel is outstanding.

I would take Armond up on his offer and send him a small part so he can compare it to his Fleet color book. I spent quite a bit of time searching the net to identify that color and came up EMPTY. Found Throttle cable Bracket that fits FORD Cables

Best pic I could find of the business end of the bracket. To me it doesn't look compatible. -
Found Throttle cable Bracket that fits FORD Cables
chillininnh replied to Kingfish's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Be careful, that likely fits the newer style ford cable. I have a feeling they aren't the same. Let us know how it goes! -
I just responded, my apologies!

I'm using the Magnaflow 15816 kit. After having some lead pipes made it installed pretty easily, no trouble with fitment here with good clearance.

I consider the addition of the TKO600 to my ride the best mod I have done. I have had zero issues with mine as well, the more miles I put on the better it seems to shift. Drag racers have had some trouble shifting them at high RPM (6000 and over) but for me this is a non-issue.

There is certainly a chance the Marti will reveal the color.

Cutting Lokar cable - best method?
chillininnh replied to miketyler's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I simply seperated the clevis from the end of the cable and reinstalled it through the hole on the pedal. I'm sure there's a better way but I don't see how rigging it this way will be a problem. There is constant pressure where they meet. -
Can anyone help me identify this part????
chillininnh replied to Kris's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I don't believe they belong on your Mustang. They look like parts associated with a spare tire hold down or something.
