  1. They have a free standing steamer on Amazon for about $70, and gives you the ability to move the head around without having the tank attached. This is the same kind I've seen some upholstery shops use, but of course theirs are probably way more expensive. https://www.amazon.com/SALAV-Standing-Movement-Continuous-Adjustable/dp/B00I8XC6C6/ref=sr_1_3?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.yJeWqxysHTMw2STYeWekUkT81eitlSvOt6XjMRumma7PpkC_BJU8M_sAF7UAWPkBKAfYlTGsSNvv5yI2VcxO3vxGAf-wQkv-a3gf0SgckLPoVKP1Rzi0zXc--kTmekOtCZPobC_m4m4cddCHdYhsnko1Erf4ISFjOmTzIklXdkbsDg-nnl6r0FGH2l34FE8vFH7ktqn27BWcDPu0SmAPgWrWtel8Nz_s3_U2av9z6ttjVAVYUxUABH4U2cHOxAtNnE_4tnhtYhWLSOjwAr1ThmoO_g4PYwczfYTRUMag2qs.dglWeo-RpB_602Jlgjqkly4HjgO0KqEJHKE5wWAgmf8&dib_tag=se&hvadid=557616259142&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9030095&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=3723751084039988099&hvtargid=kwd-33693130&hydadcr=8651_13471857&keywords=clothes%2Bsteamer&qid=1709924303&sr=8-3-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1
  2. Thanks Vicfreg. Yep, keeping the original wiring, but went through every wire, fixed anything bad, and ran a bunch of new ones for the stereo, backup camera, amp, and new instrument panel gauges from NVU. From what I saw when I took the dash out all the wires are in the harness that sits in the channel above the dash. Which ones are you referring too? I'm also putting in a new Old Air Products AC/Heat system so the old AC elbows are not used, but the new AC vents will be put in before dash install. What is nice about the new AC systems is that it is so much smaller that I can now use the large glove box of a non-AC car. Once the dash is in I can put in the new IDIDIT tilt column, and finally finish up in the engine compartment.
  3. I just painted the 69 Dash satin black, and once thoroughly dry will put all the switches, and AC vents back in and finally install it in the car. Then I can mount the steering column.
  4. I know, but they are all on backorder and that is why I wanted to know if someone had a spare pair.
  5. I'm looking for 69 Mustang Quarter Pillar Windlace - Coupe/Convertible, part # C9ZZ-6531290-BK if someone has a pair for sale. Thanks, Peter
  6. Thanks for posting this as I've wanted to do the exact thing on my 69 hood.
  7. Important FYI: One thing to remember when gluing in the glass. Once you put the mixed bonding agent on the glass you have two minutes or less to position and set the window as this stuff dries really fast. Ask me how I know.
  8. No, as they will not fit. I had to return those and I got these instead, which worked perfect. The issue was the connector as it is not a screw on if you get the 3M Channel Bonding and Sidelite Adhesive, 08641, 47.3 mL Cartridge. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JV19231/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 QWORK 20Pcs Static Mixing Nozzle Tip, Mixing Epoxy Adhesive Applicator Nozzle,Mixer Plastic Resin Mixing Tip for AB Gun 50ml/1.7oz(1:1/1:2Ratio)
  9. When I glued in my windows on my 69 vert I used 3M Channel Bonding and Sidelite Adhesive, 08641, 47.3 mL Cartridge with the Dispenser Gun, 50ml Dispensing Gun Kit Impression Mixing Dispensing Dispenser AB Gun 1:1/1:2 that I got on Amazon for $22. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JMXTBW6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Everything worked great and it was so much easier than using a caulking gun with various items installed to try to make it work. Yes, I tried it and it was a disaster.
  10. He didn't respond, so he probably doesn't have any more. Thanks again for a recommendation.
  11. Thanks John. I'll give him a shout, and hopefully I be able to get one also. Regards, Peter
  12. I'm trying to finish getting my top replaced, but I can't find the 5-piece top weatherstrip kit any where, and I've tried. If you have a spare set, and are willing to part with it, please shoot me a PM with a price. Thanks, Peter
