Terry, the part number of the short Quiet Flows are #22430. And his are for 2 inch tubing, he doesn't know if the shorts are offered in other sizes. Doesn't really matter as the Walkers neck down inside to 1⅝ inch. I've heard the exhaust on Mustangs with both long and short Walkers and couldn't hear any difference.

I believe the Mustang Steve group guys who have the Walkers out the back have one off muffler shop pipes. The 21856 is a really tight fit, requiring cutting an inch of the rear outlet, and immediately 90° up and over the axle. I do know Walker makes a shorter version, but don't know the model number. Bullet Bob on the MS site has the shorter version, I'll get that for you on Monday.

Ya, run more caster if you can, and with those parts you should be able to. I run 7° caster with manual steering without issue. "They" say return to center is lacking with Borgeson PS, and more caster helps its return.

Nice. It's shining like a new penny.

Coming along nicely. Ya, anything OE shaker related is stupid money. My shaker hood trim ring which came on my $25 shaker hood circa 1995 had a crack on the rear center. Around 5 years ago a fellow Mustanger had a pristine ring for sale at $200. I couldn't see spending that much as I had one that could be repaired. I'm afraid to check out prices today.

OE clips, or your custom made, clips are the way to go. The clip set I bought from NPD were crap, as they spun in the molding. Double checked the part number to make sure they weren't for the C shaped headlight molding, nope. Ended up using my filthy OE clips I saved. -
You got skeelz bro.

I'd uncork the headers and drive up and down the street.

That's certainly outstanding news. I ain't going back to check, but was rotating tires never mentioned? Cuz it's one of the first things that should be done when a vibration is found.

I love my 16:1 Chocko rebuilt manual steer box.

Ya, I know a couple of guys who are going. I don't really care for the big events, crowds and heavy traffic ain't my thing. It's only about a 3 hour drive, and I've got a buddy who would put me up for the weekend, but that ain't enough to sway me.

Absolutely. That's his car you got your butt parked on.

"You know Gill Gonzales?"

Yup, my pitman arm is flat without any offset.

Clean? Right. If you only knew Terry.

No clue on your headers... but on my cheapo Hedmans I cut the thin flange between the ports to get each port to seal.

If and when you change out the 3.00:1 gears, and if you want to sell them, let me know please. -
Good info Brian. I too installed the glue on brackets fully into the glass. I stole this easy way to install the glass regulator arms and pieces from someone here.

I'm no rocket scientist, but with a 3.35 first gear and 3.80 rear gear, I'd think first gear would be pretty much worthless. I've got 3.25 first gear, 3.25 rear gear and 27 inch tall rear tires, and first gear at 2,400 rpm is only 18 mph. I'm thinking of going to 3.00 or 2.75:1 rear gears. My OD gear is .78. -
Dayum, you do nice work.

Not to hijack your thread, but... I'll be there in late September and will have to meet up with all y'all.
