  1. Thanks guys, I do appreciate it. Crap, last time I said "I do" I got into a hell of a mess. Bob
  2. You made me laugh there Bruce. I'll take a Ford 9 inch over a chebby any day. Bob
  3. Welcome 24k! Nice vert. Careful now, you don't want the background to compete with your car for beauty. Where is the pic taken? It looks like Monterey. Bob
  4. Yep, bummer it is. I did wipe down surface with acetone first. Oh well, at least I'm working on a Mach I and not a chebby.
  5. RPM

    Renderings!

    Yep, what they said. Bob
  6. Sounds like you could buy it sight unseen for $800. Doors alone are worth that. keep us posted.
  7. Hey guys, I used Permatex red high tack gasket sealant between the pumpkin and housing. I've never had a problem with gaskets before, but I got a leak I can't live with The leak is on the bottom center at the gasket, not from the studs. The surfaces were clean and smooth, with good coverage of sealant. What brand did you use, and are there any tricks I should use. Thanks. Bob
  8. Fwiw, my brother and I both bought the Milodon. Never considered the Edelbock. Bob
  9. Not what, fake scoop or wrong on so many levels? Bob
  10. That's a big step, congrats. A car in the paint shop is always a good feeling. Bob
  11. Aw crap. Went right over my head. Sheesh Bob
  12. I must be slow, I don't get the "train driver". Bob
  13. The round head of the bolt that holds the spring together on mine is just under 1/2", at .480. Bob
  14. Wow! Quite the undertaking. Nice work. Bob
  15. Monte carlo bar and fender brackets similar to street or track. Mill for brackets, and lathe for the tube adapters. Bob
  16. Hey Rickshaner, from whom did you buy the brake and fuel line clips? Thanks. Bob
  17. Wow, slick paint job! It must look tremendous in person. Another fan of the engine body color. Bob
  18. Nice work. Now the fun of putting it back together begins. What makes hok black different from any other black? Is it metalic, pearl or have other hues in it? I always thought black was black, unless something was added to it. Bob
  19. Heck, if they're off take them with you to the parts store to match up some rod ends. Bob
  20. What is the suprise system? I've never heard of it. Bob
  21. Nice. A 3 car garage makes a nice sized shop. Where do you plan on parking the family cars :) Bob
  22. Installed u joints, after returning one because the knucklehead parts guy gave me 2 different styles. Guess I should have checked them before leaving the store. I haven't installed u joints in many moons, forgot how easy they were to install. Bought an adjustable prop valve for the brakes, and a rebuild kit for the distribution block. I believe I'll not use the dist block and use generic T blocks for a cleaner look. Need to fab up a mount/spacer for the prop valve. been dragging my feet on the brakes, need to get rolling and get them installed. I'd post some pics if my computer would read the camera card or my phone would allow me to post them.
  23. Oh, ok. I thought you had recently put new leafs on and the concern was if they were Cougar springs. Bob
