  1. Nice fab work. I feel your pain on the galvanized welds as I recently installed convertible inner rockers on my Mach. Bob
  2. Ordering? I'm not Buening, but I believe the pdf attachment is for folks to make their own eccentric eliminators. But, I may be wrong. Bob

  4. Nice! What front disc brakes are you using? Any pics of the rebuilt engine? Bob

  8. I think quality speakers in the holes would look better than trying to fill them with fiberglass. Don't know how you could match the grain without making a mold. Bob

  10. Nice! How did you strip the paint? Welcome to the forum. Bob

  12. Of course Buening would have plans, sheesh! You engineer folks amaze me. I made mine about a year ago. I only put one offset hole in them as I have adjustable lower arms which should give me plenty of adjustment. Bob

  14. Plumb bob, tape measure and level. Love it! Think I've got about 6 of each. Bob

  16. Welcome Zippo. Very nice looking car. You got the stance just right. Bob
  17. With my car, neither bolt holes nor fixed points are symmetrical side to side. I bought my 69 in 1989, and I am just now getting use to it. Bob
  18. The manual adapter is about $150. I was able to get manual link and arms for less, plus it looks cleaner. Only option I had at the time was a Flaming River box. Bob
  19. Welcome Frank, and very nice work. The hood blackout area looks green in one pic and matte black in another, is it black? Hidden damage ids fun eh? It sounds like you were unaware of it, did the seller disclose the damages? Bob
  20. Pretty common way to install them, for me anyway. It sounds like you got them installed, right? Bob
  21. I'm never bored or disappointed when I view this thread, nice work. I really like your wheel choice. So let me get this straight, you inquire about a set of custom wheels, and the moron tells you that the offset is too modern??? You did what I'd have done and spent your money with someone who provides service. Bob
  22. Mark, as Fordguy69 said, yes they do make asymmetrical u joints. When I recently bought a set for my Mach, one was too wide for the skip yoke only. It fit the drive shaft just fine. As long as you have the measurements, you can check the u joints while at the parts store. Bob
  23. Either measure the width of the yoke between the snap rings, or take the yoke into the parts store to get the correct u joint. Bob
  24. Most of the moron American drivers on the redneck show drive too deep into turn one before braking, or brake too hard causing them to miss the turn. It doesn't matter which rear suspension they have, as driving skills usually win. Bob
