Fun work, I remember those days. Did you get measurements first? Bob

Those are purdy! Bob

Those late models usually have 6-3/8 bs, in the 18" anyway. Bob

Big frame hammer, when used around youngsters. Big fu¢king hammer usually. Bob -
Have you looked into the Midland unit, or is that the same as a Bendix? I think Midlands are about 7" diameter. Bob

Thanks Alan, but I've bought one. Forgot to update the thread. Bob

Did I miss the post where he said he used compression fittings? Bob

As Freddie Prinze used to say, "loooking good!" Bob

Sad story. What an a$$hat your first customer was. I too would have him come back, then I would tell him what a POS he is. He already knows he is, but needs reminded. Yes, your location is very important to potential buyers. Good luck. As Everett Beasley used to say, education is not free. Bob

Welcome to the site, but where are the pics of your car? As they say in Vegas, show em of you've got em. Bob

Wow, she's beautiful! Very nice build, and welcome to the forum. Bob

Yep, the 2 tone stands out nicely. I think I like rear view better than the front. Bob
-
Wow! Can't add much that hasn't already been said. Dittos to the compliments, and condolenses. I really like the two tone paint. Didn't think a two tone would look good on our cars, boy was I wrong. I don't think I've ever seen a better 69 build. Kudos. Bob

Oh yes, they are fun! And cool to watch. Bob

$3.45 per foot is a great price for Dom! Each time you use the bender it'll lower that initial cost. My ex has a real nice $200k bender at her shop where I used to work, oh well... Bob

Re the roll bar/cage, I first cringed when I saw it done with holes in the floor. But since a plate will be welded over it to support the hoop, is a pretty darn good idea. Before looking into it, I always wondered how they welded the top areas. You can weld back in the holes, don't know if that's covered anywhere. What size and mfg will you use on the cage/bar? Bob

As I think about it a bit, I'm sure you'll be fine with your education and hands on background. I was going to join until I found out I didn't have the "proper" email account.:001_rolleyes: Bob

Good luck with that Corner Carver crowd. You better never ask a question that's been asked before, misspell a word, or use improper grammar. Tough crowd. Bob

Beats me, I've only seen my non a/c motor and heater housing. One of the guys with an a/c unit will have to post some pics of their's. When I posted my ad I just guessed they might be different because I knew after buying a heater core those were different. Bob

Hey, no worries. Nice that you were able to find such a good car so close to home. Good luck worth your car. P.S. Coronado is a peninsula, not an island :) Bob

No worries brother, just teasing. That's what the smiley face was about. Bob

SHHHHH! Dude, don't spoil a sale :) Bob
