HA HA ........i like the location you have listed peoples republic of kalifornia.......it fits so well out there.......i always tell people i refer it as another country..... and mabey we should just go ahead and give it to mexico and make them happy??? im bad today!!!!! must be the full moon!! well im glad you had an easy problem to fix!! i have a 70 coupe that i have to put in a new wiring harness i bought from painless...ill be doing that in a couple of months so i will have my hands full ...as i have never put one in .....so it will be interesting!!!

thanks everyone....... i have heard lots of good things about the mighty vac so i will see what happens with that....but i may try gravity bleed first ....i will watch for the bubbles when pouring from the bottle........ thanks ed

hey guys i need sine advuce,,,, 1970 mustang coupe all manual drum brakes....i replaced everything from master cylinder to lines ....etc...... now i have to put in the brake fluid for the first time (going with dot 5)....and need to know - which is the best way to bleed them....i plan on using a mityvac but should i gravity bleed them first (since evreything is empty) ...ill bench bleed the master first...but eveything from the line distributor to the wheel cylinders is empty........ i have never replaced a whole system before so i want to do it right the first time...... thanks ed

got help .....engine was sitting too low...... now its all ok...........thanks anyway ed

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE C-4 TRANSMISSION ON A 250 SIX CYLINDER ENGINE IS THE SAME FOR THE 200 SIX CYLINDER ENGINE?? AND I THINK THE BELL HOUSING ON THE C-4 250 SIX MAY BE THE SAME ON THE V/8 ?? ED

I WILL THANKS.......I HEARD ON SOME REVIEWS FROM THE SCOTT DRAKE RESISTOR (FOR THE A/C CAR) WORKED FOR THE NON-A/C CARS LIKE MINE......A COUPLE OF GUYS SAID IT MATCHED THEIR OLD ONES THEY TOOK OUT....SO I WILL CHECK THAT ONE OUT TOO.... THANKS FOR YOUR HELP ED

the used resistor i am going to use is rusty and ill evaporust it to clean it up.... i would rather put a new one in it since the box is a repo new one...........and the blower motor is new... and the wiring will be new (using painless)...... first harness i am doing so i am trying not to make mistakes..... ed

thanks..... ill try it....... the new resistors for sale seem to all be for a/c cars but my old resistor looks actually the same ....i wonder if i could use one of those without any problems?? wonder if anyone else has tried this?

THE RESISTOR ON A 70 MUSTANG COUPE HEATER BOX HAVE 4 PRONGS FOR WIRES......OR 3 ? THE OLD ONE ON MY OLD BOX HAS THE 4TH ONE EITHER CUT OFF OR BROKEN OFF FROM AGE.....I HAVE ANOTHER USED ONE ILL PUT ON BUT IT HAS THE BOTTOM FORTH PRONG ON IT.........AND I BELIEVE THE BLOWER MOTOR WIRE GOES TO THAT ONE........?????? MY OLD BOX IS GONE AND THE WIRING SO I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT THE WIRING THANKS ED

the car has no a/c so its a simple heater blower motor with a 3 speed switch....... ed

i have my dash out put in a new blower motor and repo heater box......wiring being replaced so its half missing......the blower motor has two wires - one goes to ground - the other is the hot wire--where does this hook up to???? i dont see a wire for it in my painless wire kit yet.....am i missing something here?? this has to be an easy one i would think??? thanks ed

why not use the dot 5 silicone fluid??? it seems to work well in cars not driven daily..... i hear lots of good things from lots of people who have used it....i knot dot 3 and 4 give you problems after a period of time...... what is your concern? ed
