  4. Well I'm pulling the trigger and finally parting ways with her. She's been great to me and it's been a fun ride re-building her along the way. My father and I purchased this coupe when I was approx 13 years old. Since then we've done the following -Non frame off restoration. --Replaced one door --Replaced one quarter panel --Replaced one fender --Approximately 15K miles driven since body and paint -High performance 306 --302 bored .030 --Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and intake --9.5 to 1 CR pistons --Ford Racing Cam --Edelbrock 4bbl carb --Heddman Longtube Headers --Approximately 8-10K miles on motor --MSD distributor -Rebuilt C4 transmission --2800 stall -8" Ford rear end w/ factory gearing -All new light blue interior (done during restoration) -Sony Xplod CD player w/ two 6X9 rear mounted Pioneer Speakers -White Face Guages w/ blue lighting -17X7 and 17X8 American Racing Torque Thrust II's -Total Control Products Rack and Pinion Steering -Master Power Brakes 11" front disc brake kit -New 20 gallon fuel tank w/ new sending unit W/ all that said the car does have a few flaws. Mechanically the car runs great. -The paint could use some touch ups (rock chips, minor surface scratches, swirling). -The headliner needs replaced. -A few body parts do not line up perfectly but only noticeable up close -A mouse for the first time since we've had the car got into it last Winter while it was stored and chewed up a small portion of the carpeting. (Not really noticeable but you can see it when pointed out) I'll try to get more pictures but right now these are the best I've got as the car is in storage for the winter and has always been stored in the winter. Contact me by pb-bright (at) wiu.edu or call at 217-254-8238 Feel free to ask questions and like I said I will try to get better pictures if needed. Asking $12,500 OBO. May consider partial trade on a nice Yamaha R6 bike or GSXR600 or CBR600RR plus cash. Titled/licensed/insured in Illinois. 2007/2008 pic. Car hasn't been driven much since the pictures above dated 2005. As school/job/and my other car have tied me down. Plus not having a place to store inside I kept her at my parents house in a heated garage through the bad seasons.
  5. 4.5 IIRC. Thanks again for the info. I'm hoping by the end of the summer I can have the wheels and new stance done. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  6. Wow...that thing is already beautiful...can't wait to see it all done (which it'll never be) :P
  7. Thanks guys for all the replies. Really appreciate. So what you guys are saying is I should maybe go w/ 5 leaf or 4.5 leaf mid eyes instead of reverse eyes. Then if it's not enough just use lowering blocks to get my desired height? Thanks again.
  8. Okay guys...I think I have it figured out. I've got 17X7 w/ 245's on the front and 17X8 w/ 245's on the rear....I'm thinking I'm gonna bump up the rears to 17X9.5 TTII's. I'll need 6.38" of BS right? (That's what AR lists on their webpage w/ the wheel info) Also what tire should I run. Wanting a drag radial and really like the Hoosier's and MT's...not so much the Nitto's. I know I'll have to roll the lips a bit but I don't want the tires sticking out beyond the fender. I'm guessing a 275 to 295 will be good, eh? Also for the suspension....wanting to drop it a bit. Thinking of 5 leaf reverse eyes in the rear and 620's up front? (I've got a 306 in her so I should be GTG right?) That'll bring the car down about 2" in the rear in 1 or so in front, correct? I'll let that settle and see how she's sitting and maybe go a lil more if I can...but I do have Heddman longtubes and there are some speedbumps around here. Sorry I haven't been on much lately....just got sworn in as a Federal Bureau of Prisons Correctional Officer. So I've been pretty darn busy. So give me your feedback guys, any would be greatly appreciated. Also if I got ahead and do the Shelby drop I'm probably lookin at 2" total dropped in front, correct? So that means I'd maybe need to drop a lil more in the rear...what do you recommend? As much as I'd like to go w/ coilovers and a TCP link setup in front and rear....I can't afford it. The car in question as it sits now...old pics I know...but it'll give ya an idea
