  1. 1969 Mustang Mach 1 428 SCJ $22,500 Fishing Creek, MD For Sale – 1969 Mustang Mach 1 – R Code 428 SUPER Cobrajet If you had time machine and could go back to the 70’s, you would’ve seen many race and street cars with wild metal flake paint jobs. Well, here’s your opportunity to own a 35,564 mile example of such a car. This car, has been a race car its entire life with 2 previous owners. The car was changed from its original Springtime Yellow, to its current heavily metal flaked Black and Silver, back in the late 70’s / early 80’s, it’s unclear the exact date. But, this wasn’t just your run of the mill 1969 Mustang, this Is a 1969 Mach 1 that sported the legendary 428 SCJ (SUPER Cobrajet) and C6 Auto. The original drive train is long gone, unfortunately, no drive train included. The original owners, ran the car at locals tracks and roads in the Toledo Ohio area from new, till 2006. When it was purchased by the second owner, who is the person we purchased it from. The second owner, was running, racing and cruising the car up until 6 months ago, when he decided to pull the drivetrain (not original) and place it for sale. The car is loaded with all its original badging, including the buck tag, door tag and windshield tag, plus Marti Deluxe report. All the original options are still on the car… Tach Dash Automatic Shifter Power Steering Power Disk Brakes AM Radio The interior is original and I believe it has never been out of the car. I feel, that if the carpet was removed, the original build sheet would be found under the carper or under laying. It is in really nice condition, no cuts for speakers on interior quarter, rear deck or door panels. For its age, the interior can contest for the 35K original miles, with minimal wear on pedals. The body is in decent shape, there is a small dent on the corner of the front fender. The rear quarters, because of the cars racing history, were modified (flared) slightly to accommodate the larger tires for racing. The bottom of the driver’s door has some rust as well. The undercarriage is in decent shape, the pans are soft and will eventually need to be replaced. Torque boxes and frame rails are in decent shape and if floors are done, it can be determined, if they need replacement. The paint isn’t perfect, but for a paint job that is 40 plus years old, it would make a fun driver / conversation piece. This was a running / driving up until 6 months ago, so it makes an easy car, to transplant a drivetrain, to drive and enjoy while deciding on next moves. In recent years, we’ve have seen these cars appreciate, especially the SCJ cars. I am pricing this time capsule beast to sell, especially when you consider how rare SCJ cars are and that restored cars are $70,000 to $90,000 $22,500 OBO Thanks for your interest Kevin Text or call me any questions. 410-845-9135
