My 69 Mustang seatbelts are back after sending them to Texas months ago to be restored. And today I picked up the original transmission after it was rebuilt. The original 351 Windsor is also completely rebuilt and ready to go.
So I'll have all winter to assemble the car once I get the finished body back from the body shop.

Does anyone know anyone that repops the two chrome in dash A/C diffusers for a 69 Mustang?

When I was trying to get Grande stripes I bought a NOS kit with lines similar (different colors) to that. I wonder if anyone still has a car with stripes like that showing.
Update: Found the part number not that it matters C9ZZ6520000X White/Gold. I think the one on your car would have been C9ZZ6520000W
Does anyone sell these stripe kits?

I mailed my original set of seatbelts to snake-oyl for them to restore.

how big of a piece do you need? Can you make it
I already ordered a lower quarter panel skin from CJ. It didn't coat that much. And I can cut the piece I need from it.

I found the lower quarter panel skin on CJ Pony Parts webpage.
I can cut out the piece I need from it.

I was hoping not to buy a full quarter for the passenger side, but I may have to if no one makes the patch panel.

I paid more for the bezel than the radio. I mounted speakers in boxes that sit in front of the trap door, but don't like them there. I have another set of rear interior panels that have speaker holes already, I am going to paint and install them with speakers.
You have a picture of yours?

I can do a simple mod to an existing radio to allow it to have an external audio input. your radio would have a standard 3.5mm audio ( headphone style) connector on it. Then you just click a switch, and the radio becomes an amplifier for whatever you have the audio plugged into. It could be a Walkman style portable CD player, or a MP3 player. I have done this for several others in this forum. Cost is under $100, including AMFM radio, or go it on yours for less. I can tell you more if you are interested.
Thanks Danno

That sounds like a great option. Thank you.

I contacted my cousin to see if she remembered my Grandpa getting hit in the back of the Mustang.
She said he didn't get hit, but that he backed into something denting the tail panel.
That makes sense as I can find no signs of the car ever being in a bad wreck.

I want to upgrade my stock AM radio single speaker system to an AM/FM CD sound system.
But I don't want to cut anything, and I want a retro looking radio that looks period correct.
I see CJ parts sells a trap door with two 6x9 pioneer speakers. So then I'm thinking no front speakers being I don't know where I would put them.
I would appreciate any ideas, or radios and equipment I should consider.
Thank you in advance.

That makes sense. I don't remember my Grandpa getting in any accidents in the car. And there are no signs of the car ever being wrecked. But it is dated 1974.

I'm looking forward to getting it back from the body shop.
I love doing the reassembling process.
