I just got off the phone with marti auto works. Tinted glass was an option even on the a/c cars. -
Factory a/c without tinted glass?
Bill Bailey replied to Bill Bailey's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I found another a/c 69 Mustang Marti report online, and it shows tinted glass as an option. -
Hi All, I have a factory a/c car that, other than the rear window being tinted, has clear glass. My grandfather bought this car new, so I'm positive it always had clear glass. So was tinted glass an option even on the a/c cars? Marti report attached. Thanks in advance.

Latest progress pics. I had to buy two aftermarket valances to make one good one. Still hoping to have it finished and back on the road by June next year.

Does anyone repop the A/C Diffusers
Bill Bailey replied to Bill Bailey's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
They look great. I think I'll do the same. Thank you! -
My 69 Mustang seatbelts are back after sending them to Texas months ago to be restored. And today I picked up the original transmission after it was rebuilt. The original 351 Windsor is also completely rebuilt and ready to go. So I'll have all winter to assemble the car once I get the finished body back from the body shop.

Need info on tires and stripe my car came with...
Bill Bailey replied to Bill Bailey's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Well, as luck would have it, my body man found remnants of the factory pin stripes when he re-skinned the passenger door. -
When my body man was re-skinning the passenger side door he found remnants of the factory pin stripes located at the body line.

Does anyone make front lower quarter patch panels?
Bill Bailey replied to Bill Bailey's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I already ordered a lower quarter panel skin from CJ. It didn't coat that much. And I can cut the piece I need from it. -

Paper tag stuck on inside of taillight panel
Bill Bailey replied to Bill Bailey's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
I contacted my cousin to see if she remembered my Grandpa getting hit in the back of the Mustang. She said he didn't get hit, but that he backed into something denting the tail panel. That makes sense as I can find no signs of the car ever being in a bad wreck. -
I want to upgrade my stock AM radio single speaker system to an AM/FM CD sound system. But I don't want to cut anything, and I want a retro looking radio that looks period correct. I see CJ parts sells a trap door with two 6x9 pioneer speakers. So then I'm thinking no front speakers being I don't know where I would put them. I would appreciate any ideas, or radios and equipment I should consider. Thank you in advance. Bill

Paper tag stuck on inside of taillight panel
Bill Bailey replied to Bill Bailey's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
That makes sense. I don't remember my Grandpa getting in any accidents in the car. And there are no signs of the car ever being wrecked. But it is dated 1974. -
Can anyone here tell me what this paper tag was for, and how to remove it without destroying it?
