I think you have gone further than I did. Like you, I was not expecting to go as far as I did. Impressive.

Getting little things done. Working on the rear drum brakes, brake tubing, diff lube, and venting. Installed underlayment and dropped the carpet in. Installing door handles and window regulators. Installed new E brake cables as well.

69ShelbyGT350H got a reaction from bigmal in Electric trunk release works in 69 to 73 mustang
I'm adding keyless entry to mine. No power lock switches, it will be controlled by the key fob. The fob also has a trunk release button so will add that to the car as well.

Looks like a heck of a car collection. Too bad your 69 didn't make it. Thanks for the pics.

Bad Shoe Productions How To Video Series - Ford Transmissions & Rears
I am only a happy customer having purchased his FMX video's and having Ken reply to my stupid transmission questions on his FB page. You may ask him questions too, even if you have not purchased any of his products.

69ShelbyGT350H got a reaction from GregoryCet in Louvers on a Shaker Hood? Sacrilege, Felony or Cool?
Just my opinion, but with the shaker, black out and the pins, I feel that would be enough. I think the louvers would make it too busy. Rivets or screws would look out of place if there were nothing else on the car like that, would make the louvers look more like an afterthought bolt on.

69ShelbyGT350H got a reaction from GregoryCet in Which Fan Shroud do I need?
Here is the recommended setup for a fan and shroud. The fan should fit with 50% of the fan in the shroud.
I have scraped up my knuckles more than once installing the fan to the water pump with the shroud in place. You have to put the bolts on the fan, any spacers on the bolts and slip it carefully between the pump and the radiator. Then using an open end or ratchet wrench, tighten the bolts.

Give that a try. I've had to do it. Again, be careful not to hit the radiator with the fan, bolts, wrenches or your hand. It helps to have the belt(s) off the water pump so you can rotate it to get to the fan bolts, but a pain if the pully misaligns with the water pump shaft.

69ShelbyGT350H got a reaction from ElijapwNus in Factory under dash lights for sale.
I can verify that at least, the one on the right is correct for a 69. This would be the driver's side. I do not seem to have a picture of the passenger side. The picture below is looking from firewall side of the driver's side of the metal (lower) dash.

I took several 360 degree photos and am uploading them to Youtube. These are the photos that you can look at on your phone and move it around to see everything around you, or with phone/computer use your finger/mouse to push the screen around.
I've put a few others up on my page. Hopefully you will be able to see them after you follow this link.
This one is from Friday evening and Sunday morning after the rain. There are 5 photos that display for 30 seconds each. Use the "Pause" feature if you need more time.

Click the picture to go to my photo gallery of the 44th Daytona Turkey Run. It's mostly Mustang's with a few odds and ends thrown in.
I will be attempting to add the 360 panoramic photos to the gallery and will post my results as a success or failure.
