  1. It's got a 351 Windsor 4 barrel under the hood with an FMX trans. It's had an Edelbrock carb and a Flowmaster fitted too.
  2. Thanks. So the guy said. Had a few people look it over and said it's original and ok. Here are a few detail pics of it.
  3. Hi All, Below are a few pics of my new 69 M code I collected today. Just been serviced and they couldn't find anything wrong with it so just fresh oil and oil filter. The paint is flat and faded in areas, especially the doors (from California sun) and there are various stone chips on it. Still no idea where to get black jade paint from! Goes like stink though and much better than my old 72 302 vert.
  4. Yes they look great. And love the cragars. We can't get Cooper Cobras in the U.K., just BFGs and Hercules.
  5. I paid the bill for my new Magnums and BFGs. $2260! The UK/US exchange rate is not good!
  6. I guess these aren't a good tyre fit, they look like 15x8 Magnums with 245/60/15s and plenty of tyre rub. But they do look good.
  7. Ok thanks. I'll see if I can get a few samples of paint mixed to the colour. Some panels are faded more than others so it's going to be difficult.
  8. Hi All, Does anyone know if there a touch-up pen that matches Black Jade please? I want to keep my original paint and have various stone chips on the car. Thanks for any help you can give.
  9. I swapped the crap UK yellow indicators lenses for standard red lenses and the reverse lights became indicators.
  10. Thanks for your comments. I've always wanted a 1969 Mustang since I saw this in Street Machine magazine back in 1986. 31 years later and I finally get one! Unfortunately I've had to sell my 72 as I don't have the garage space :(.
  11. Just bought Magnums 15x7s (front) and 15x8s (back) and BFGs 235/60/15s and 255/60/15s for my Mustang. Can't wait to put them on.
  12. Yes, I hope they do. Thanks for your comments about the 72. There are some pics of it on my website: http://www.mustangconvertible.co.uk
  13. Thanks. The 69 is black jade. I don't mind the colour, though my wife and kids think otherwise. The only mods I understand the car has had are an Edlebrock carb and a Flowmaster exhaust.
  14. Thanks for the welcome. I have just bought the 69 and am due to collect it in the next week or so. It's a California car, all original including the paint and no rust. No doubt will have lots of questions about the car when I get it.
  15. Hi, My names Mark and I own a 1969 Mach 1 351W 4 barrel and a 72 Mustang convertible. I'm looking forward to being a member of the forum and learning more about the 69 Mustang. Mark.
