  1. Some good info here. Thanks guys
  2. we can work something out with this and the fan if your interested.
  3. ok, this makes more sense to me. I've always seen these as sought after the only reason i thought of selling it is because I'm going with electric contour fans for my build instead. i know these get posted on ebay for a lot but that's why I was asking what its worth.
  4. I took this out of a 69 cougar also for my mustang but decided to go another route. Is this worth anything or should I scrap It? Thanks guys I appreciate it
  5. Wow, it's not worth anything really..... I thought barnett468 was just joking ha ha ha I guess I could just rattle can it and hang it on my garage wall or something Thanks guys
  6. Hey guys, what do you think this is worth? I took it off a 69 cougar xr7 I bought for parts back in 07 or 08 along with a few other things I don't need anymore The car was a driver but I bought it shortly after it threw a rod. One of the rear wheels was bald....:surprise:
  7. I would imagine any decent shop would have a way to measure spring rate..... Try another shop? Even I thought about getting something for that lol All this valvetrain learning drove me nuts. This is reason and with the suggestions of others is why I just went with a custom cam with Chris Straub. If I didn't robb that bank i wouldn't have been able to afford it thought.....j/k
  8. That's probably the tire I'll just go with. 295/40 Same as the wheel, I'll order 1 and test fit then order the other if it's good. I don't mind rolling the rear fenders...... I have a friend with a 2015 mustang with nitto nt555 g2 tires and he's happy with them. I might try that tire first
  9. Only a little :-) I'll have to roll it for sure then. No biggie
  10. Didn't see this till now unfortunately. It doesn't have much space but it looks ok to me. I can take it one of these days to you so you can be sure. Send me a text anytime and we can figure something out
  11. Bought these and didn't use them. Now I'm going to use a 351w so I can't use these. $42 shipped for the 154-3601 (new) 154-3605 sold
  12. I bought this when I was going to use a t5 but now that I have a 4r70w I don't need it.....right? Lol It's new and I paid $94 so $85 obo shipped I've sold on many other forums throughout the years with the same user name for different hobbies but now that I have this MAN hobbie I have some feedback on the corral forum if you need to check :)
  13. He told me he likes AED because it's made by Americans in the USA so it's great quality and the people that make them have been for many years already
  14. Thats probably why ive always thought to stick to a vac secondaries carb.
  15. I though it was a must for the best driveability in the city
  16. I don't remember right now but did you tell me he recommendeds AED carbs and he sells them? Well he only recommended a 850 aed dp
  17. A friend told me about them and I had bought one for the 302 I was going to build before the 408w but recently sold it. I only had that one in mind because I didn't see another carb that was a 850 and vac secondaries. I keep seeing a vac secondaries carb is a must for street and auto. Please don't think I'm not listening to your advice because I am. You've been one of the greatest helps so far
  18. Anyone have experience making hard lines with a tubing bender and flare tool? I need or want to install bigger fuel lines to feed the 408w and I do need new hard lines going to the 9"rear axle I installed. Is it a PITA to make them no matter the metal type I use or easily done? If I can save a little cash making them or if it's about the same after I buy the tools then I'd be happy. I do love me some tools :)
  19. Haven't ordered them yet since I'm limited on storage space but they will be the same wheel just 18x8 and 4.5" backspace. I wanted to go with a 18x7 but that's probably too skinny
  20. Have you considered just a Bluetooth receiver/amp with the speakers only and leaving the stock radio installed? It can be installed somewhere hidden. I've only heard of them but their supposed to work good. If you want to save a lil just get this HomeSpot NFC-Enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009OBCAW2/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_mL3fzbJ9Y56WN I have that on my home stereo because I like my older marantz receiver and didn't want to upgrade to a newer marantz $$$ I've had this for a couple years and it works great. You can power it with a car charger because it uses a mini usb plug with 5v and I've been 20+ ft away and it works fine. That and a good 4 ch amp like a JL 300/4 with some rca splitters sonce it only has a 2ch output and your set I couldn't make up my mind on a double din or this Bluetooth set up. Now I don't think ill have a radio at all in my 69. I want to hear the 408w sex from under the hood and my exhaust lol
