  1. personally i prefer the classic look but if you want your front look to differ from most other 69 stangs, why not add bumper guards!
  2. i totally agree with 2011SVT and don't offer him anything except maybe you take the car back for the 500$ because he could try to make a judge think you offered it because it was your fault! if you should decide to make the 500$ offer, send the letter with a return receipt!
  3. Q-Code :punk: i'm sure there would be a market for a replacement tach because i know so many people that want one, maybe the manufacturers will realize that too some day.
  4. Hi Roger was this originally an L-Code car? i might be interested in the engine mounts if you still have them.
  5. M Code = 351 4V, this car did not come with a FE "bigblock" and the 351 might have been original!
  6. i might have to change the wheelhouses and quarter panel skins as well in a few year, but for the moment i'm happy the way it is. your car will be badass as well. i like the rear spoiler and you got the high back seats as well, and do i see a rimblow steering wheel in that picture? maybe i should get that rear spoiler as well.:punk:
  7. on the way to the swiss "paul walker memorial corso" :crying:
  8. i don't know why marketing guys are so dumb. in europe, people import the mustang because it's a US-Car with US looks. if they are changing to a more european look, the european and the americans probably won't like it, because the mustang badge should stand for a truly american design.
  9. sure, they can be taller, but not wider. after doing a shelby drop, i had to roll the fenders on the front
  10. very nice, a friend of me has a a car just like yours.
  11. here is an extremly simple mod that changes the appearance of the stock taillights. i call it "chrome trim ring delete":
  12. most companys make some parts and buy others from different companys. infact, the pictures of the 1969 idler arms in the M-N online catalog can be found in the raybesto catalog and i'm pretty sure ac-delco as well as others are selling identical products.
  13. borgeson maked them. you can get them from borgeson, summit, etc.
  14. forget the magnaflow chart. it's only good for modern or tricked out engines.
  15. 2x 2,5" with a 302.... unless your installing a stroker kit, you will probably be loosing power. according to the sizing chart that i used to choose my exhaust, 2x 2.5" works best with 300-350RWHP by the way, going too big won't wake things up, it' will make your engine loud and lame cause your loosing the low end torque. it cost me a lot of money to learn this lesson. 2x 2" is good up to 250RWHP, (~300+HP at the crankshaft) i would try the reducer first.
  16. you might also want to look at the stuff from rrs: http://www.rrs-online.com.au/ i think their stuff is really cool unless you got regulations like in europe and shipping might be cheaper as well :-D by the way, chip foose used their stuff on his overhauling mustangs
  17. if you like the factory color of your car, i would go with that. if that's not an option, make sure it looks good with your interior color.
  18. i started with all new manual steering components as well, but i don't have any return to center with the borgeson box. ...but it works perfect with the old 16:1 box from the powersteering. at least the replacement steeringbox works better then the first box that i received.
  19. did anyone try to fix the problem with a "return to center" or "reflex" steering stabilizer?
  20. these two shops should be able to help you. http://www.performanceplustire.com/ http://rimsntires.com/
  21. according to this chart: http://www.mhtwheels.com/cms_pdf/F105%20Legend1.pdf 18x8 ET1 -> 4.5" front 18x9 ET7 -> 5.25" back
  22. i agree @fordguy69, i like the gray color :punk:  but the blue accents look weird :confused1:
