I just checked the statistics. Ford made 7013 "1970 Boss 302" cars. That vin might be worth a lot if it was a 1970 Boss 429 or any 1969 Boss. As bnickel already said, no collector would pay that much for the vin, and the vin is one of the very few things that's still reusable on that car.

i'm a total noob to mustangs, so maybe an expert here can help me. my car came with power steering as you can see on the pictures. is that the standard power steering on a 1969 mustang or an after market product, because i could not find any hint about power steering in the marty report of my car? the complete steering needs to be overhauled, therefore i'm planing to replace it with a rack and pinion system. do you guys think what should work without problems?
