not sure ... but this has to be it... this along with some other 69's have me wanting to paint my car black ... this was an amazing coupe!! as you can see a crowd gathered around it ....

great 45th show... talked with modern driveline while at the show.. good stuff. should have the parts in 3 or 4 weeks. it was great seeing/hearing the hydraulic system explained and going over the parts for the swap. one item i was trying to decide on was the serpentine system or powder coating my original v belt system. after seeing Roush motors and several other vendors systems as well on cars at the show... I am checking back into billet industries serpentine kit. saw some amazing cars .... almost decided on black as the color to paint my 69 .. saw some great cars in black. :tongue_smilie:

some nice grande's here in B'ham... great show! lots of cars trying to take pics of all the 69's i see.... hopefully the rain will hold off enough so we can see the remaining stuff we didn't have time to see yesterday....

heading out today Thursday .... meeting up with fellow mustang bud and brother n law in Columbia, SC and heading to Birmingham, AL for the 45th celebration on Friday!!! 609 mi – about 10 hours 1 min just wish it was in my 69 so i could stretch out that 408/T56 combo!!! another time.... maybe i'll be able to pickup some good parts specials for the show... see everyone at the show!!! :punk:

just remember ... all transam cars until 69 ... coupes .. only in 69 up did they start using the sportsroof as trans am cars. we (coupes) still have the weight advantage!! ... long live the coupe!!!:ph34r:

forcefed70 ... you are my hero .. i think i have told you that before a while back..lol.. i am interested in your megasquirt - EDIS setup. its time for me to purchase fuel system and ignition setup.. and i cant decide. i im looking at 500 for a carb, and 700+ for a fuel system to support 600hp.. and another 500 for a ignition setup. costs $$ to go fast. just wondering if you have any info published on your build. i have a 69 coupe and have built a 408 stroker with cleveland AFD 2V heads and a viper T56. i am going to drive it as much as possible .. its not a drag or trailer queen by any means. i want as much hp and fuel economy as i can squeeze out of her...!!
i have read all the megasquirt sites.. but you have an exact replica of what i am dreaming of. one day ill order a set of AFD heads with higher combustion chamber size to accomodate a turbo setup.

Pak ... it would be interesting for the market... have the "templates" ever turned up ... anybody have drawings of them etc... i have a few shelby books but only a bit of info on them. and it seems to be the same info on the net.:whistling:

that'sa lot of tire.... post some pics of the rear when you have a chance.. ah cool 1" high.. i think it looks great! i wouldn't mind purchasing one.. who did you buy it from...? Yea the hood is a boss 429 style but the scoop in only 1" high. I thought about the shelby lid but its kinda expensive for a piece im not too sure about. i like it but it seems too big for a rake like this.
