lol.... off topic ...ok time for a story.... i rebuilt my PS valve ... took photos before i did to make sure i replaced the hoses correctly. everything went great ... took my time.. went back together perfect .. no extra parts.. :tongue_smilie: ..had the car on stands... got the wife to see how easy it was to turn the wheel lock to lock.... shut the motor off... took it off jackstands ... fired it up ... and almost lost an arm.... steering wheel turning lock to lock by itself as fast as it could.... shut it down... changed my pants ... developed the photos ... couldnt tell they were blury.. found one of my mustang buddies .. and he laughed for a few minutes... then said... reverse the hoses back. i did .. and it drove great.. thought you would enjoy a laugh.:huh:

agreed .. my shock towers already had some stress cracks from the stock 351W.... i knew one day i wanted to put a higher hp motor .. so i supported for whatever i may do. 1BAD351 - as for installing it with the engine installed.... i remember the welds around the driver side shock tower under the proportioning valve at the shock tower being tight.

yep ... i would take advantage of the motor being out and getting ready to paint the engine bay ... i had the pro-motorsports shock tower reinforcement kit installed by a buddy that could weld. a link about the kit: http://www.metromusclecars.com/projects/67_fastback/shock_tower_repair.html

yo never know .... i was there on saturday, i waited a bit to talk.. tow guys had a problem with a clutch setup from another vendor and needed help.. they had driven their car to the show by jaming it into gear... so i said ..talk to these guys.. they have a problem.. i just have an order.. lol we should have worn 69stang.com shirts or something..

i have been researching this same subject as i want to drive my car at the least one day a week. seems on the pro-touring sites that most use the procar or rally series by scat. i have yet to sit in one so i cant recommend 100%.

glad to see some south ga mustangs .... im in the woods about 40 minutes inland.. just got back from brunswick for our bi-monthly trip.. lol I have been researching this same item, i am looking into the accel thruster setup at the moment. welcome, ill have to say this is the best site i have found for 69 mustangs.

more 69's .... cobra jet convert ..... dont know if its real.. but it was nice. seems the "intermediate blocks" are in for this show!!

how about a 1 of 1 69 Shelby with a Boss 302 ... yep it was at the show... signed by Mr.Shelby ... i think this was its first time out for the world to see in 35+ years..:tongue_smilie:

one of my favorite cars from the 45th show... lots of great cars!!
