Ordered my Powermaster 9606 high torque starter along with a new flex plate and new engine and trans mounts.
Don't want to play in that area for a long time, with the Hookers a real PITA job.

I E mailed David key for info on changing out the input shaft on my big block top loader over to a small block ,he said they interchange no problem . Going to order the shaft ,bearing retainer and ...one more time ,another road race rebuild kit ...i will shoot to kill if any one even gets close to this trany ,third time is the charm ,this one is protected by Smith and Wesson

She's home!! But of course, as a teacher, school starts tomorrow and I won't have time to do anything for awhile!! Argh!
So my first order of business is to recharge the battery. It came back quite dead, but I have a trickle charger on it now, and it's charging up! I want to start with putting the gauge cluster back in, so I figure I need a battery so I can test that!

I have all parts now for engine that I will get except for pistons, pushrods, headgaskets and rod/main bearings. Plan to take it to shop in November for machining.
….and in process of getting out scaring, pitting, etc from the undercarriage....

Installed a 2m radiator and insulated garage doors recently. Need to get the concrete floor sealed.

I can probably recover the majority of the images if I had the time. It's a big job to go through the backups though. But I need to look into another hosting company which is a process to get everything switched over. I'll keep y'all posted.

I bought a rebuild manual by George Reid C4 and C6, mainly because I want to keep my car as original as possible when it goes through the testing grounds and once registered it's out with the auto an in with my 5 speed. He mentions in the trouble shooting section with early or late shifting between 2 to 3, that it can be the vacuum modulator or rod malfunction, also valve body malfunction or governor malfunction or loose tubes on the governor distributor. Makes no sense to me but maybe to you. I have a damaged parking pawl on my C4 and that why I bought the book.

I made my own rotisserie. Its a 427 stroked to 482. Triangulated 4-bar rear suspension. Richmond trans, I fabbed the headers and exhaust.

Went to my local coffee and cars with the guys from our car club this morning.
600 cars of all makes , 3 Genuine Shelby's and a couple of 66 coupes all nice .
Parked next to a S code Cougar convertible all original nice car, the Mach One is going better every time i drive it.
