I put a recovery cap on mine with an overflow tank, never have to worry about it again.

It's better than ok, it's freakin awesome.

I used JB weld and glued some sheet metal on the back. It would also help to stick some insulation on the inside of the panel.

I put mine here, pretty well hidden behind the seats.

Fair enough, just keep on to him to get it done in a reasonable time, you don't want this to go on for months or years.

Do those rotors come in a left hand and right hand pair?, to me that rotor looks like it is on the wrong side of the car, but I have been wrong plenty of times before, lol.

I say keep it, you can get parts for anything if you hunt around a bit, it's not like you will have to rebuild it again any time soon. Rebuild it now and you will probably never need to touch it again.

Made a custom offset shaker base and used a metal mid plate and scoop giving me a full metal shaker. I had some paint mixed to match the color of the original air cleaner, it looks much better than using spray cans.

I agree,  none of the racks are perfect, it's a matter of choosing the best of a bad lot.

To fill the gaping hole that Ford left there and to give me something to stick the insulation on to.

I debated the paint color for about 2 years but ended up changing to blue.

I laid my harness out on the floor, connected the earths to a piece of steel tubing and then tested and repaired all the circuits, then wrapped it and installed it in the car.

Looking good, you sure do work fast, I've been doing mine for 7 years and I'm still not finished!!. By the way you will probably have to drop the rack down a couple of inches if you want to install the engine and trans in one unit, the bellhousing will catch on the rack.

Make sure you refit the kick panel air vents before you fit the dash and parking brake, otherwise it becomes very difficult- ask me how I know.....
