Well damn, I thought I had 2. I've gathered the pieces to swap to manual brakes on my 69 also. Depending on the master cyl you're going to use and if it has a rod retention clip, you may have to weld a stop tab on your brake pedal. The following is from the Mustang Steve site:
    https://www.mustangsteve.com/msfaqbrakepedals.html
    IMPORTANT:
On cars with manual brakes, the steel lever arm you see welded to the top of the pedal serves as a stop to keep the pedal from being able to travel back towards the driver far enough to pull the pushrod out of the master cylinder. If the rod comes out of the master cylinder, there will be no brakes. Most master cylinders for manual brake cars have a positive rod retention clip built into the piston. The rod snaps in place and is very difficult to get out. MOST DISC BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS DO NOT HAVE THAT FEATURE, since they were mostly designed for use with a power booster. When swapping master cylinders and brake parts, BE SURE there is no way the rod can be pulled out of the master cylinder, by either a positive lever stop on top of the pedal, or by positive rod retention clip in the master cylinder, or both.
This is a pic of a pedal with the tab.

I am getting ready to drop my shortblock into the car and I am looking for a good set of engine mounts for my Windsor that can hold up to a lot of extra horsepower.  Any recommendations?

I didn't request anything! I walked in one day to check status and he said he just posted up my engine their new channel so I went to hunt it down! I thought that was cool.

When aligning my doors... do I install the latches and strikers, then close door, then support door, then tighten front hinges?

or support door without the strikers?

i have a lakewood scattershield for my 351w and the 164t flywheel.  if you have to get a bell, i would recommend a 157 bellhousing.  it should be slightly smaller than a 164 and allow a little more clearance for headers.  there are plenty of 10.5" clutch setups out there that can support a lot of power.

High performance motor with 4.1inch stroke, aluminum heads, that will see <5,000mi/year.  Has anyone done this to a 1969 block and how did it fare?

Hi everyone, I want to share the mustang I am working on with you.  I bought this H code back in July of 2015, she spent about 4 months in a body shop getting a few corners, floor pans, and tail light panel replaced.   I got her back from the body shop in February of this year and have since rebuilt the 9inch, finished suspension on front and rear, converted steering to manual steering. I am currently working on finishing my wildwood disc brake setup and next up will be my engine build.  This is going to be picture heavy but enjoy! Feel free to comment and question!  This is the first time I have ever tackled a project of this magnitude and so far it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.  I am attempting to do the entire car myself.

I picked up an oversized fiberglass boss 429 hood scoop that does have an internal mounting flange on the sides and rear.

I am planning on drilling 4 holes down each side and 3 across the back. Then using some bolts with a rubber washer on each sandwiched between the scoop and hood to dampen the friction a bit. What would you guys suggest?

There are options for manual drum and power disc.  One of these, or is there a third option?

California Mustang 4 Stars - Great location if I need to pick up parts for same day projects. Are slightly more expensive but they did price match a set a 4 magnum500s that I wanted.

Mustangs unlimited 5 Stars - Probably my favorite so far. Very inexpensive, tried them for the first time when NPD had the spindles I needed on back order. They also have the best customer service reps I have come across.

NPD 4 Stars - Great all the way around, I have had great success from them so far
