  1. Oh, 255/40-18 on the back. 245/45-17 in Front.
  2. I have Foose Knuckles on my 1970 convertible. 18"x9.5" in the rear with 5.5" back space. 17"x8" on the front with 4.5" back space. No issues with clearance. My rear fenderwells were hand modified (not cut) - rolled and I cut the rear axle bumper brackets off.
  3. At one time, I worked in the #2 World Trade Center (South Tower) on the 87th floor. Years later, on 9-11-2001, colleagues and friends perished in the terrorist attack Remembering them today. Thoughts and prayers go to all the families who were impacted by this tragic event. WGI was an Engineering company that today is part of AECOM. The legacy company I worked for had people from the 78th to the 92 floor on #2WTC. Alan Bondarenko, WGI Carlos Cortes, WGI Robert J. DeAngelis, WGI Frank De Martini, Port Authority of NY & NJ Ulf R. 6. My Cousin has a 1950s Cadillac with Bullets.... but they are on the front bumper.... "Dagmars"
  7. I would install the relay in the wire going to the compressor, not the way Holley recommended it. I advise checking with Vintage Air to see how they usually use a WOT interface with their system. Putting in series with the Binary/Trinary safety switch is what I would do, but they for sure have dealt with this before.
  8. Ridge.... that looks like an "assault fuse"..... isn't that illegal in the People's Republic of Kalifornia?
  9. Awesome, thanks for the ideas guys!
  10. Posting a picture of where my emergency brake cables run. Originally ran them on the floor pan. These are from a late model Mustang Cobra. Subsequent to this, due to my exhaust routing, Mike had to open up these slotted areas and run the cables through there.
  11. This is something that is supposed to be only useful for racing or really high performance use. if your heads are off, you can try this, just get what are called "indexing" washers from Summit or Jegs. They come in different thicknesses and through trial and error, the theory is that you use the washer to limit the rotation of the spark plug while tightening it, and point the ground strap directly opposite the exhaust valve. Meaning, that the spark plug opening is pointed directly at the exhaust valve. I have seen this done in the pits at high end drag races. For most of us, not worth it.
  12. I have 2 pretty nice original sport mirrors, all in one piece. The glass in both is not cracked, but severely scratched and worn. Any sources for new glass, and suggestions on how to remove the old glass?
  13. Not so sure now, bolt spacing doesn't look quite right.. hmmmmmm
  14. This is the rear window stop hardware for a Coupe/Convertible. It goes on the rear door jamb. I will see if I can find a picture
  15. Hey Byron, Hadn't seen the compact Wilwood unit yet, if you get one, post a picture.

Sad news... If you have watched any of the many “car” shows on cable over the past few years, this lady was prevalent in many of them. Something cool about a blonde in a fast car….. Cheers to the lady with Stugots…you rock! https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a28843412/jessi-combs-killed-in-land-speed-record-crash/
  18. Doug, I saw JJW somewhere...but remember seeing David Allen Coe sing some of his songs at the Iron Horse Saloon during Bike Week at Daytona. A real wild man......
  19. A single diaphragm booster "pancake booster" may also interfere with the Z-Bar due to the larger diameter. I was told the Boss 429 brake booster would solve this problem. I will let the experts weigh in, but my Explorer mastery cylinder and Wiilwood distribution block mounted on the double diaphragm booster do not hit the shock tower.
  20. Yeah...I noticed the wingtips in the video....almost like Ford did that intentionally.....
  21. There are several posts on this topic. The single diaphragm booster is not as deep, but is much larger in diameter. I used a double diaphragm booster and a Ford Explorer/Ford Ranger master cylinder. One of my toughest parts of my whole project was to find a combination master cylinder, prop valve, etc that fit and had enough clearance from my headers. I think I put a separate post on this on the technical forum. If not, let me look and I will find the pics. The Wilwood master cylinder is long.
