Hi there guys haven’t been on here in a long time. I’m taking out the 7.25 diff my car had when I got it to put in an 8” that I just put together with a Detroit Locker and 3.40 gears. My question is will I have to cut the drive shaft or get a new one? Anyone have any info or advice.

Hey hows it going guys out of curiosity anyone with a V8 and still running 6 cylinder spindles? (4 lug drums)
or has anyone made the change to the Wilwood 4 lug disc brake kit available? and how do they feel, are they good when braking?
I bought V8 spindles with drums and I know they are stronger and plan on converting to disc but just curious as to weather the kit works well!

How’s it going guys it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. This pic was photochop but I did end up doing it. I plastidipped it And I should be getting it powder coated before FFF.

Yeah the circuit board, the tank and the sending unit I have are brand new. I did reuse the voltage limiter that my car came with though

Let's kick off 2017 with a medium length run from L.A. to Palm Springs on Saturday January 28th, 2017. Meet at California Mustang in City of Industry at 8am. Leaves at 9am, and should wrap up by 2pm. We will stop for lunch around noon. Not only will we have prizes for the fastest car to each check point, but we will be doing our first ever Poker Run. There will also be a scavenger hunt. Many different ways to win prizes. We will finish up in Palm Springs where we could unwind and have some refreshments. Not sure how to post a picture of the rally on here but you're welcome to visit the page Classicstangs on both Facebook and Instagram hope you guys can make it

All my gauges don't work but my oil and water temp pressure cables have power, the only one that doesn't get power is the cable going to my fuel tank. What do you guys think can be the problem?

Oh yeah I know where the Marriott is. I think I might just head down there that morning but I'm planning on leaving my place 4-5 in the morning. Is there a long line to line up? What would you recommend?

Heck, I'm in for a bumper! Make it 2, front and rear! Sven, If you think his fiberglas parts look great, which they do, you should see his shop set up! Quite impressive, with a major cool factor.
Where is his shop located? I also want to see what he's fabricated, so far I've seen his hood! And I do have to say that it looks stunning

Oh nice so still not too far from there. Yeah I live in south Orange County Which is like 45 minutes from Knotts. I went for the first time last year to check it out and fell in love there's just such a big gathering of cars that I put it upon myself to take my car this year along with my friends. (71 Mach1, 71 coupe and 69 coupe) thanks I'm still getting the hang on how to navigate the site haha. My cars pretty much stock, I have a 302 with gt40 heads, running a Holley 650 double pumper. Powered by a c4. I have drums all around the person before me switched everything from a 67 so my car is a four lug and my differential is a 7.25, very weak differential. Just got her painted last year after 5 years!

Have you used octane booster when you fill up your tank? The needle on my Holley Ultra XP was sticking until I started using the octane booster. If I fill up and don’t put in the octane booster right away it starts sticking again. I’ve already taken the needle out and cleaned it prior to using the octane booster and continued to stick.
