  2. Thanks i will give that a try. Heat gun is one thing i haven't tried. Any recommendations on what to lay down on the bare metal?
  3. Im using the angle grinder.Found it to be more efficient also. Yeah too bad there wasn't an easier method. What are spraying on your floors?
  4. Thanks Yeah everything is removed. I tried the torch but it kinda cooks it and makes it harder to remove. If it was thicker i think that would work great. I just been been hitting it with wheel then spraying brake cleaner on it. Its doing the trick but such a mess. I wonder if they make a chemical that would work? Aircraft stripper dosent work so well on this stuff. Im trying to figure out what this material is?
  5. Hey guys so im stripping the inside of my mustang down to bare metal. The trunk area and floor. The previous owner loaded it up with this undercoating thats like tar. Its such a mess. I took a wire wheel to it. The results were good but very time consuming. Trying to find a faster way and eliminate all this mess so i can spray the inside. Any advice will be much appreciated thanks
  6. Thanks guys huge help. The lead seam is in good shape the whire wheel scuffed it up a bit. But nothing major.

  10. Hey guys. So stripped down my car and where the factory lead seam from the quarter meets the roof. I was wondering should i melt down the lead and fill it with dyna glass? Or can i go over the existing lead seam with mud? Any advice would be great
