  1. Big ass hammer always does the job ! I kind of drew up a pattern using harbor freight rollers ,if i can get some 1 3/4 tubing today i may play around with the bender and see what i can come up with .
  2. I just came across this pic ,needs a little deeper throat and a wider throat but with a little modifying this could work
  3. I have been thinking about building one of these using harbor freight wheels ,i have seen a few videos of guys using them mostly on old cars that have much heavier gauge metal than our mustangs . Not sure exactly when i will get the time but it looks fairly simple ,here is a video of one in use
  4. Yep ,i think that used to be cars in the park ,i wish it was there again !
  5. I see someone was busy ,the Russians have left the building !
  6. There is actually two different quarters used on the 70 some used the 69 type but most will have the true 70 . The end caps do not exchange between the two ,i dont believe the early 70 panel used the side scoop but i cant remember for sure
  7. I cant even hardly open anything with the full page pop up ads ,they dont want to click out ,my ad blocker is on ,this just started when the forum cam back this time
  8. I am getting these full screen pop up now ,you have to click the X several times to make it clear ,not just a typical pop up but full screen
  9. Is anyone else getting pop up ads all of a sudden? They take over the whole screen and dont want to click out !
  10. I have never had a hood blow up ,but i always run hood pins ,my brother let a 69 hood blow clean off the car ,it went clear over the car and landed in the middle of the road ,he didnt have the hood pins on ! I have worked on many Mustangs that had the hood blow up or off and smash the front of the roof and rip out the hinge nuts taking them with the hood ,hood pins are one of the best safety features you can have!
  11. Every door has a prize behind it ,no room for anything indoors . I dont blast a lot so outside is the best . I usually have to move things out of my paint booth just to primer something
  12. I found both front inner fender aprons ,they need a couple of cracks fixed and someone drilled a few holes in one that will need plugged . Found a good set of headlights and stands . I got the front part of the frame rails boxed so soon as it stops raining here i will blast it and get it in epoxy .
  13. A lot happened in just a very short time ! I lost two of my great Pyranees in two days . The oldest ,11, Annie wasnt getting around very good so i took her to the vet ,they operated but it was to late ,she had extream cancer ,i brought her home where she died that evening . Suzy my middle Pyranees at 9 years old had epilepsy ,the next day she went into a siesure and never came out of it ,i think it was because we lost Annie . I buried both of them two days apart under the palm trees in the pasture where they loved to spend their time . I had been looking for a golden Retriever pup ,the day after we lost Suzy one came up on market place ,i jumped in the car for a two hour drive and picked up Bonnie! Now they want a fortune for these dogs here ,1200 - up to 2000 . They wanted 500 for here and i didnt question it . She is a bit of a terror ,we call her carpet shark ,but about the sweetest thing ,when not biting with those little needles and smarter than hell! She is helping fill a big empty hole that was left. I didnt get much done on the 35 ,boxed the front rails and dug out a few more parts but right now not much in the mood to work on it,but maybe in a month or so ,we will see.
  14. When drilling through the carpet ,place the drill in reverse until it goes through the carpet and door panel ,this will keep the bit from winding up the carpet strands,1/8 bit is good for #8 screws ,or you can burn the screws through the panel ,also in reverse first
  15. Hey ,idiots have the most fun ! I have fun almost every day!
  16. I found both front fender braces ,i have 5 driver sides and only one passenger .kind of looks like a big moth!
  17. All the holes line up ,i just put some old bolts in to hold it in place
  18. Finally! I got it out ,now you know i will probably find my other one tomorrow!
  19. See, i told you there was a 37 ford under there! I was never so glad to see that cross member is bolted in ,drilling the one out of the other frame was not fun!
  20. I have been moving crap all day and i still haven't hit bottom ! Oh the life of a hoarder ...i mean collector ! Yes ,there is a 37 ford pick up under the mess!
  21. I have sprayed bed liner in the roof to stiffen it up ,if you have dings and hammer them it could get worse or better ,blasting a roof can cause shrinking in the metal causing the oil canning . I have played a flame under the oil caning spot but you can really screw it up if you are not careful .
  22. I thought i may be able to put that rear mount back together ,it will have parallel leafs so no weight on that mount ,but it is all busted up ! If any one has this bracket for a 35 -41 i will gladly take it off your hands !
