  1. Hi my MSD 8578 has a slight movement when the engine is running. The motor seems to run fine. I can only assume that the shaft is bent . You can see the dizzy cap move in an oval direction. Is this a big concern? I have put a timing light on it and I am still getting good advance. The dizzy was in the car when I purchased it . Cheers Shep
  2. Just wondering if anyone has purchased one of these . Good or bad? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-70-Ford-Mustang-Hood-Tachometer-DIXCO-Style-8000-RPM-/330803098543 I was wanting to use something like this as I have a non tach dash. Cheers Shep
  3. Does anyone have the measurements for the glue on brackets for a 69 fastback. There is a drawing floating arount on the net by David Suesz that shows the front bracket is 3/4 back from the front edge of the glass and the rear bracket is 27 1/2 back from the front edge. I used these measurments and found that the guides are still a fair way out. Can anyone confirm these measurements . Looking at mine the front should be about 1 inch back still allowing for adjustment. Would be nice to see if anyone still has brackets still glued in from the factory. Cheers Shep

  5. I'm wanting to get my rear spring reset by about 11/2 - 2 inches. I heard lowering blocks are not good . If I reset the springs will I need to change out the shock absorbers as the shock mounting would have raised as well. Will the shocks bottom out ? Cheers Mark.
  6. Hello , Im looking at buying a Performer Rpm Air gap for my 351 w 69 mach1. I have a couple of questions. Will it fit under the hood. Will it fit using a MSD billet dizzy. Also some of the 7581 air gap manifolds have the vacuum port machined into it and others don't. Why is this and if i do put one on will this affect the vacuum as i need it to run all the heater A/C components . Am I better of just putting on a performer rpm instead. Cheers Mark.
