  1. This is related info... I bought the baer kit and this was my setup: 1" drop springs with 1/3 coil cut, stock style arms, 1/4" isolators, 4.5 reverse eye leafs, stock power steering box. I actually had to bring both the sleeves and the tie rods to a machinist and have them shorten the sleeves and tie rods in order to achieve proper toe. I think this is total bs for a product that is supposed to fit. Now that I am in the middle of installing the Borgeson kit, I may have to purchase new tie rods again because the new steering box puts the pitman arm in a different location at center than the stock one does. Been waiting for a related thread to post this on, because if I had known this I obviously would have left the stock style tie rods on for awhile until doing the borgeson conversion. Either way they should have fit the first time. Time will tell how upset I will be...
  2. I vote grabber yellow. Then triple yellow after that.
  3. Is the lenttch valve body a constant pressure unit? Meaning is it meant to not have a TV cable? If its not you will need a TV cable setup. Otherwise you will need a 5.0 starter I think, the yoke that came with the transmission because I believe that's different from fmx, and I think the fmx flexplate works...or so I have read. Driveshaft...not sure. The AOD also is designed for a cable shifter I believe, not linkage like fmx. If the aod has a solid input shaft, doesn't that make it a three speed effectively? My understanding is that they came with the two piece input shafts for the lockup converter... Why bother switching to the aod for zero extra gears? FMX's are bulletproof...I can't imagine what one would be like with a stall converter and some aftermarket goodies.
  4. As promised here are a few photos of the Forever Sharp steering wheel I purchased. Love the horn design, and my only complaint is that it feels slightly thin in my hands. I will probably get a wrap for around the rim to thicken it up a bit. I like it.
  5. I just purchased a wheel from forever sharp steering wheels, I will let you know how it is and take a few photos when it arrives.

  7. I have a 351w with manual steering setup right now, and I am switching it over to borgeson soon because the steering effort is ridiculous. I have a 14" steering wheel, but my tires are inflated to near max psi and it is a bear. I am 6'4 so I'm not weak either. I have heard about the returning issue with borgeson setups, and it seems like some people have the issue and some don't. I know one thing, parking or driving in neighborhoods sucks right now...its that hard.

  9. If M code is 351w I have the complete air cleaner assembly including riser tube and snorkel off my 69 mustang...
  10. I see that you're running 17x9 TTII's up front, what are the specs on those? I am eventually hoping to run 17x9's all around. Cheers

  13. I have OPR roller track arms, which allowed for 1.5" shelby drop. 1" drop springs with 1 coil cut, and 4.5 reverse eye leafs. HOWEVER I cut the spring before realizing the perches were backwards, and now I am going to buy new springs and only cut 1/3 to 1/2 a coil. Bumpstop issues and sway bar issues have driven me insane, and because of how much I dropped the upper arm negative camber became an issue too. Not sure how different this is for those with only 1" upper arm drop, but my car is basically riding on the bumpstops right now so this setup officially sucks. Looks cool though, but it will be more level after I get new springs.
