Is there a tire treatment that leaves the tire looking like new not shiny like it is covered in grease? I dislike the shiny, wet look and would like to to find a cleaner that leaves the tire looking like the tire did when it was new. Any suggestions? And no, I have not tried any cleaners as I am unsure which one will suit my need.  Thanks.   Dave R.

I am with you Mike. At a show last year my friend who puts the show on told me a story. A guy approached my friend at the end of the show and bitched because he didn't win a trophy. My friend tried to appease the guy, unsuccessfully. The guy was really steamed. His car? A brand new Corvette. I remembered seeing the car at the show. The only thing special about this car was the temporary tag that was on it. Yes, he had owned the car less than 30 days. He washed it and shined it I guess but he truly did nothing other than "write the check" and expected to win a trophy. Because the car was brand new? or because it was a Corvette? Sat. Sept. 19th, this coming Sat., there is a car show in Fairfield, Ohio in the Village green area just west of Pleasant Ave. (US 127). Registration starts at 3:30 pm. Wessel Dr. will be blocked off and used to park some of the cars. Great turnout last year.  Dave R.
