  1. Im running 2004 mach1 rims, still has the mag 500 look with a modern twist which I like personally. Rears are deep dish mach1 rims, 17x10.5
  2. The specs on my wheels....17" original ford mach1 rims up front. Rears are 17"x10.5" with 315 35 17 tires. Specs on the rear wheel is 6.9 backspacing with 27mm offset. Fitted with no mods other than a 1" adapter/spacer. I did however decide to make more clearance on the forward edge of the inner wheel tub while my floor was out. Im about to weld in a new one piece floor which has been slightly modified (narrowed) between the wheel tubs.
  3. Im sure Mike will tell you all about it, im also sure he gets a lot of ppl asking that question, I was one of them, lol. It was Mike that kinda helped me make my mind up on deep dish 17" rims and 315 tires for my car.
  4. So where do your rear hangers mount because im not seeing the small brackets with the studs on your car either.
  5. Mmmmmm, maybe that's why I cannot find these listed for a 70. I realize the 69 parts would fit perfectly but maybe they just did away with them on 70's. My car is a 70 also and did not have them, im thinking ill just add them for the heck of it.
  6. Do you have any pics of that setup. Im not exactly sure where your hangers go, are they in a different spot than Brians car?
  7. I just bought those two brackets thinking that's all I would need. Looks like from the other responses I do need the reinforcement plates also. Thanks guys, I will order these up right now.
  8. Do 69-70"s have the dual exhaust reinforcement panels like the earlier cars did. About to weld in my complete floor and was curious if I need to order these panels. Only showing up for earlier cars however, maybe this tells me the later cars didn't have them? Could somebody verify this.
  9. You are correct, I can tell you from experience however that dynacorn must get their quarters from the same manufacturer, EVERY quarter ive ever installed on a mustang that came from dynacorn fit perfectly. We have also ordered quarters from goodmark which must be made elsewhere because there weren't even close. We ended up cutting up the goodmark quarters and using pieces for small patch repair. Unless you buy NOS they all come from Taiwan. For some reason a few ppl I know seem to think that goodmark parts are made in USA, not the case, Taiwan just like dynacorn.
  10. Have a pair of upper rear torque box plates. Brand new, dynacorn pieces EDP coated. After mine were sandblasted I found them to be perfectly fine. $40 including shipping.
  11. Dynacorn quarters seem to fit really well, ive never had an issue with any dynacorn quarter ive fitted. Ive been really lucky with all the dynacorn parts ive welded on my car, I haven't had to modify a single. The new doors will require 'gapping' tho but thats pretty common.
  12. Just throwing this out there to see if anybody has a console top plate/shifter plate for a 1970 4 speed car, looking for a standard one.
  13. Speaking for myself here but you always offer parts I don't need right at this point. If I were 6 months further along id buy the clock panel from ya. I did try to buy a console from you also but I was to late.
  14. Thanks, I couldn't make my mind up at first, I had both paints ready (semi gloss black and grabber blue). Now its painted im glad I went with body color.
  15. Lol, yeah I hear ya about the tow hitch, I was pretty supprised to see one when I walked around the back. Id change a couple of things on that car and it would be a nice car, not that it isn't already. Id loose the hitch and add the third tail light back on again.
  16. Thanks. Yes the car car has mini tubs, tires are not insanely wide, 315's just the dish that makes them look that way. Sorry I don't have any underhood pics but its a 351w, sounded pretty quiet when he rolled up in it also.
  17. Its a 69, not a boss car, 70 quarters I think he said. He used a 70 front valance to get rid of the side markers on the 69 valance. Used a 69 grille, modified it and moved it forward to hide the driving lights.
  18. Yea, I have to agree on the tail light thing. Other than that I thought the car was pretty sick looking.
  19. Lol, that's a good thing. Thought some guys on here might like to see this car that was in my driveway yesterday, shame it had to leave. I think this car is pure sex. Chopped 69 fastback, met the guy a few weeks ago and he thought he'd drive her over to show me.
  20. Yep, its the new grabber blue (color code CI) not sure there is much difference between old and new.
