  1. cheers guys ill get it all hooked up tomorow.
  2. just a quick one my dash has a factory tac in it but the wiring isn't for a tac, so dose anyone know where the two wires on the tac connect to? like I said its a factory tac and I have bypassed the pink resistor wire as I have a rtr distributer. cheers
  3. I have been wiring up the original alternator but seemed to have blown the voltage regulator when i connected the battery can some confirm my connections? alt regulator= F= field on alt I= igntion switch power A= battery positive terminal on soliniod S= STA on alt. then the 4 wires off the alt are: ground to ground on voltage reg. batt power to batt positive side of solinoid FLD to F on voltage regulator. STA to s on voltage regulator the car is a 302 69 with standard alt, also i have a ammeter wired up.
  4. Sorry yes its a repo boss 429 long.
  5. Dose anyone know the correct position off the boss scoop as I need to fit one to my hood. Thanks
  6. Cheers for the help ill get on it tonight
  7. dose anyone know where the bleed valve is on a 69 302? as i cant seem to find one anywhere and i need to fill the cooling system from dry.
  8. have you tried grounding out the sender wire quickly the gauge should read full but only quickly as you can burn it out.
  9. yes new floors aswell, ill do that cheers Bob
  10. when putting in new seat risers what is the correct position, or do you just line up the 4 access holes?? cheers
  11. To be honest I have been looking at the prop as I didnt want to get confused by the axle! Like I said I suppose I can only be sure when the car is on the ground. Im going to adjust the bands again and also check the reverse servo as when I did the air test the bands did move but they did not fully close Im not sure if this is an issue or not?
  12. thats what i though i dropped the valve body today and checked the servo with air it seems to come on fine. i also adjusted the band in but i didnt hav a small enough tourqe wrench so had to guess. do you think it need to come in more?? also the car is still on stands and i havent really let it get to temp only running the car for short periods due to it being inside do you think its worth taking it outside and letting it warm up and see what it dose??
  13. not sure if anyone can help, i got all my c4 in and filled up and with the car on axel stands went through the gears all seemed well untill i realised that the propshaft spins the same way in revers as it dose in the forwaed gears! anyone know what this might be? do i need to adjust the bands?
