  1. Please delete- This Mustang is SOLD!
  2. I'm on my 3rd SD switch and it's now acting up.....These switches control everything
  3. Another thing is to check any vacuum plugs to see if any are cracked or broken. I had a car stumbling and found a large plug on the back of carb had cracked allowing a large vacuum leak
  4. Ridge Runner, please keep me in mind if you do make them. Until then, if anyone has a pair, please PM me
  5. Any idea of it's official name and does anyone re-pop it?
  6. I think you're on the right path. first step is to see if the accelerator pump is actually working. With the engine off, and air cleaner removed, look in the top of the front barrels of the carb while with your hand moving the throttle. If the AP is working you should see a stream of gas squirting on each side. If nothing, probably the AP diaphragm is broken inside. The AP is located o the underside of the front bowl.
  7. I put together the interior of what was a basket case on my 70 FB. The area near the top corner of each side of the (non fold down) back seat has a gap, but I can't find anywhere what is missing. Can someone tell me if there is a filler molding or something OR even better yet, may have what I need lying around..... Photo attached. Thanks in advance
  8. I had some trouble with this on my 1970. as it turns out, my shock towers had flexed out of place and after looking around, I found a technique which you jack the car up and let the wheels hand a while and it gets closer. In the end, mine fit just great. Sorry I can't recite the procedure, but if you search the Vintage Mustang site, I think you'll find the answers.
  9. I love hearing all these opinions. The thing that got this whole thought process going was the fact I was just looking on ebay at sold or completed listings and found many real nice 69 or 70 mustangs ended for less than $20K. This seems low to me as compared to several other similar makes and models.
  10. As a Mustang lover, I think a 69 or 70 fastback is the ultimate car of its era to own and I own a real nice 70 fastback. I often wonder what its worth if I wanted to sell. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like other makes of similar muscle cars sell for quite a bit more than Mustangs. Does anyone have an opinion to share on this subject? Are there just more classic Mustangs around keeping the prices down??
  11. Hi, brand new member here. I have a 1970 Mustang which the horn has never worked since I got it. It has two horns in front of the radiator, but I wonder if the horn relay is bad or missing. Can someone tell me where to locate it? Maybe even offer a picture to show me what I'm looking for??? Thanks in advance
