  4. I got some hydrocarbon w/ Grabber Blue accents underhood dress-up goodies for our 2013 Boss 302. Totally unnecessary but man, I can't wait to receive and mount them! It should look amazing... Nothing for the 69. It's just like new. G

I just wanted to add for those who might not have noticed that you have expanded your business overseas as well: there are now a few Mustangs in France that have your refurbished harnesses and all owned by very happy customers! Out of pure curiosity, do you have any statistics on your overseas sales? Congrats for a job very well done Randy. G
  9. Ash, Those mouldings you are asking about are screwed with a strip of double-sided foam tape between the car and them. They are here to hold the weatherstrip as you mentionned. Mine too came with some king of goo sticky stuff in them, which was a chore to remove. I then put new weatherstrips and found out I didn't need to glue them in. They have the perfect shape and just clip in using a plastic prying tool. G

  12. I did that mod when I had the pedal support out. I intended to drive the car a lot so I thought this would be useful. Removing the old bushings with a grinder was not fun. I can't even imagine doing it with the support in the car... After that, it was really easy. Got me rid of a stupid 4 years steady clutch pedal squeak, that I was never able to silence in spite of many WD40 attempts. Now that made my day! Oh, and you want to spot weld the bearings so that they won't move under foot pressure. I love doing this kind of inexpensive hidden upgrades. G
  13. Just went and measured mine. I found 50 mm on both sides (approx. 2 inches). If there is a difference, it would be less than 1 mm. Tires are 235/60/15. G

  15. I did just like you: I replaced my temp sending unit just because I was restoring the car and thought a new one would work longer. Well, it never worked. Zero. Nada. So much for "Scott Brake" Chinese stuff... So I put the old one back on and everything was fine again. G

  19. Car no longer needs work. Looks and feels brand new as is. So all I am left to do now is enjoying it. We took it last week-end to a major European car show for display. Got a dozen offers on the car. Serious money as well. How proud were we!! Not selling though. Not after 20 years of happy ownership. I have put too much sweat, blood and tears on that one to let it go. And I honestly never had a classic car that felt this perfect on the road. G
  20. We used exactly the same product for my car. Bullet prof and water tight! After 10,000 miles on the road, it still looks brand new and shiny. Great build, by the way. Keep them pics flowing our way!! G
  21. Not gonna happen: it's a DSO 90! LOL So here's what we found out: 68-69 Mustangs that were imported to France all transited through Anvers, Belgium. So it is a French girl. http://www.ponysite.de/fmcog/to_alt/bbtd.htm As far as the switch that was added on the instrument cluster, it's to operate the funky additional horn. They added a wire probably to avoid hacking into the main harness. Still haven't found yet about the one on the steering column. G
  22. I built my own tool. Not as good looking, but it works fine for me. Yeah, removing the driver seat is a good trick. It takes me 5' to do that, and another 5' to put it back in. Definitely worth it. G
  23. The additional horn does not count, obviously. Those are typical 80's "Tour de France" fans installed options over here. It produces a very similar kind of "honk " as the one the Dukes of Hazzard had on their General Lee. Lol! I thought this one was imported in France, but it says "BELGIUM" on the bucking tag. I need to check if there were imports through Ford Belgium. G
