  1. Well, as long as you can pull it out and back in, it's all good then! Your work is very impressive. I really dig the way you can fab things up from metal. Very cool!! G
  2. It might be a very stupid question, but with all the brake system in place, how will you get to your engine oil dipstick? Did you try to get it out and back in? I have a fairly similar engine on my 2013 Boss 302, and that dipstick is not really fun to use, even with stock configuration. Needs both hands every time to get it back in. G
  3. Very, very nice heads!!!! And congrats for the Raptor. Looks like it was a dangerous purchase... G
  4. Now that's classic... ROTFLMAO!! It's a private joke. "Randy" happens to be Midlife's real first name. "Robert" has been mistakenly believed by some to be his first name for a couple weeks now. Which annoys him and make us laugh! Nothing more. G
  5. LOL!!! The Russian dude has a point though....
  6. Robert can fix that for you. LOL
  7. LOL!! That's a good one Ace! So true, as well...
  8. Ok! I too love to drive my car. And hate driving it on wet roads. The problem with long drives is sometimes you leave it's beautiful out there, and you get caught in the rain later in the day. Sometimes you get caught and can't avoid it. So I decided to get my undercarriage and wheel wells waterproof, rock proof and mud proof, using a very strong bedliner called "gator" and designed to keep truck beds from rusting (water sealant) and damaged when heavy tools are thrown in them (flexible). http://www.eastwood.com/gator-guard-ii-truck-bed-liner-kit.html Definitely not as sleek looking as if I had the car sprayed the same color everywhere, but it gives me peace of mind on those spring and fall days where the weather is in a shifty mood. Car is short of 10k miles now and no chips. That product is a bear to spray properly, but I love how it came out! G
  9. Will those A/C lines, wires and other components get any king of protection from water/mud splash and rock projections, being just above the wheel? Or will the car be a garage/trailer queen? G
  10. Oh my God... That is devastating. That fire must have been like hell out there. Hope the best for you for the next couple months. G
  11. Definitely looks like she's waiting for some kind of "male" assistance. Just saying... More serious, your hood might not sit perfectly but it is far from being that bad. Have you tried to shim the fender a little to see how that works? G
  12. It looks like a tattoo. That's pretty cool!! G
  13. I too have a couple carbonized wallets scattered around the floor in the garage... My wife too, except it's in her dressing room and shoe closet. As long as we keep it even, you know... Beautiful custom badges!!! G
  14. Yes, that's what I thought, that the hood in the listing is an original 69 hood, which is pretty rare. Thanks, Vanscooter, I was not sure. G
  15. I thought 69 and 70 hoods were different (round hood pins underhood holes vs oval)? Did I get that wrong? The listing says "69-70 hood". G
  16. Sanding and buffing a car have to be some of the most exhausting, crappy, mind numbing, fingers consuming activities! So many hours of your life that you will never get back... Just watching your pics makes me cringe in rememberance. Kudos to that very brave man on your pics! G
  17. What is the name of that color? It has to be "Inferno Red" or "Wicked Red Candy" because it sure looks wicked as hell. Can't wait to see her on her wheels! G
  18. Yikes! I knew someone would catch that... Well it's only because that car and I can't resist the call of the Road. "Let's go ride in the rising sun!" she says. And off we go. Even if it's deadly cold and snowy out there. As long as the roads are dry... G
  19. My Optima red is a little wonder. 3 years of faithful service. Cranks the engine like a lightning bolt, even when the car has been sitting out in the cold. I do plug it on a tender during winter, when I use the car once a month or so. You won't be disappointed if you treat it well. G
  20. Like Alan said. Malibu model two here. I couldn't be happier, even though it took a little bit of love and attention to get it properly installed. Bluetooth in a 69 Mustang? Yeah, feels like being Marty Mcfly...
  21. Coincidentally, KK1454 sold for only $175k at Kissimmee Mecum Auctions last Friday. Sign 'O' the Times? G
  22. It seems a little unprofessional, when dealing with a $300,000+ car, don't you think?
  23. http://www.barrettjacksoncollectionshowroom.com/Home/Details/1969-FORD-MUSTANG-BOSS-429-_103631 There is something weird about this car. Check the running horse QP medallions. Facing rearward. Aren't they supposed to run the other way? Towards the front of the car? Or did I miss something? G
  24. Same here, I seem to be very popular among the "Vems"... They keep liking my posts. Makes me feel good about myself. Which is fine. Lol G
