  1. Looks great. How was the molding flattened?
  2. See the emblem on my 1969 Grande 351W.
  3. I just had all of my seats redone by a local upholstery shop. All seats were stripped to the frame and rebuilt. Cost was about the same as buying premade upholstery and the material seems to be much better. I know the workmanship is better. The black central inserts are made of perforated material and the outside of the seats matches original material.
  4. Last weekend I entered my 69 Grande' in the car show in Quincy, CA. It is also a 351W with Edelbrock intake and Holley carb. I drove about 350 miles round trip and got 17.5 mpg. Although only lightly modified, I entered it in the Modified Mustang, Camaro and Firebird Class and I took first place. YAHOO!
  5. What is the cost of converting from FMX to AOD? Is there a kit with all required parts?
  6. I called Auto Custom Carpets and a (surly) woman told me that the smallest piece they would sell was 54 inches by 72 inches at a cost of $107. Anyone want to share? I only need 1/3 of this.
  7. Is there a web site for Daniel Carpenter products?
  8. I bought a burtex trunk mat for my 69 and it does not cover the area under the spare tire. To cover this area, I need a piece of the SPECKLED Burtex material about 3 ft by 3 ft. (None of the parts houses will sell a piece.) Does anyone have a piece they could spare? Thanks
  9. Are all of the images in the album for a 69?
  10. I need to reglue the windows on my 68 Grande. Could you email pictures to kcwrrn@sbcglobal.net? Thanks

  13. I am using a set of these. The quality is great. I did have to drill a couple of holes in the floor pan to keep the tracks flush. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/classic-talk/503689-seat-track-extenders-1965-1970-a.html
  14. The '69 is sporting a new steering wheel and tach. The steering wheel is a Corsa Feroce and the tach is an Auto Meter. Sorry about picture quality.
  15. I installed a Corsa Feroce steering wheel and an Autometer tachometer on my '69. I think a picture is attached.
  16. Miketyler, how about pictures of what was in the box?
  17. CJ Pony Parts description of the bezel is: "The instrument bezel surrounds the instrument gauges on the drivers side of the dash. Made just like the original, this bezel includes the silver rings around the instrument gauges. Mounting holes are pre-drilled and ready for the deluxe woodgrain overlay to be installed." Where can I get the woodgrain overlay? My 69 has the light teak panels. Has anyone used the repo bezel for CJ Pony Parts? How does it look and how does it fit?
  18. My horns stopped working after I installed a (aftermarket) tachometer. Is it possible that I blew a fuse for the horns? Does anyone have a diagram of the fuse block and a list of what circuits are fused.
  19. Had the 69 in for front end alignment today to correct a pull to the left. It needed an alignment after the shock towers were repaired. It really drives nice. The front end shop I used is expert in suspension for classic cars and race cars. The specs used are: Camber .2 L and .2 R Caster 5.8 L and 6.2 R Toe In .15 L and .17 R
  20. This is a pretty rare item. I thought someone on this site might need one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-1970-MUSTANG-GRANDE-REAR-WINDOW-TRIM-MOLDING-/350999683793?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51b93622d1&vxp=mtr
