RogerC got a reaction from Angel in Angel's 69 Restomod Coupe
This is exactly my thinking. Painted the backside of the lower dash white for the same reasons.

Both of my doors were rusted on the skin and the inner shell. I bought new doors from CJ pony. Neither fit perfect, but passenger was worse than the driver side. Had to do a lot of work to make the passenger side fit decent. The inner shell wasn’t stamped right and I had to work to move the door back enough to get an acceptable door/quarter gap. Latch hole wasn’t in the correct location. Had to weld/build up the front edge as well.

Been a while since I updated. Car has been painted and assembly has started along with continued restoration of suspension.

Just remember, criminals will always have guns, they dont abide by that silly little laws. As RPM said, all the most restricted places in the US are the highest in murder rates. NYC, Chicago, LA not good places to be with these garbage mayors and Gov's that put in restrictive laws. Of course, all those places are Democrat run.

Gun deaths per capita are low compared to other deaths in the US. As far as related to other countries, somebody's gonna be at the top and bottom of the list. Being worst on the list doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.
The most gun restrictive cities in the US have the highest murders. Being on top of that list is a bad thing. Hell, living in those cities is a bad thing.

Progress has been slow lately. But I have much of the electrical wiring done. I now have my exterior lighting mods installed and tested, including the led switchbacks in the front fender extensions and the sequential arrows in the power side view mirrors. I also used red led bulbs in the taillights. I used red instead of clear led bulbs to avoid the orange color effect in the lens, as a result of the brighter led bulbs. See the video link below.

Can you post a picture of how you took the above measurements?
Looks like driver side shock tower is bent inwards on front UCA bolt location and outwards on rear bolt location creating total of 1/2 inches of twist. This will move the left front wheel forward about 1 inch compared to right side when you get caster of both right and left to almost same degree.
Temporarily, I would adjust the adjustable UCA 1/2 inches longer on front if you can, if not put 1/2 shim under front. Permenant fix would be to find a place that can twist the tower and get it correct on driver side.

Quick fit-up with brackets. Fenders are just sitting in place.

Thanks, that's a possibility though I'd have to buy a rectangular pair.
This is what I was thinking about mounting in the airdam. 4" diameter
I also have these on hand, 3.25 diameter.
Final shape achieved & primed. I'll wet sand the entire thing next with 320 grit and re-prime. Once I get everything smooth I'll spray with some KBS rust seal and SEP. Hopefully that will add a layer of chip protection to the fiberglass.

I've been hesitating spending money on my mustang lately. Don't know if I might need it for more necessity items with all the instability across the country and what will probably happen in November and beyond. Though I'm pretty well set, I might have to increase my family's security provisions.

hey, whats important to know is that today is Ashura. it now shows up on my apple calendar, but im sure muslim shit will replace Columbus day, 4th of July , Christmas and thanks giving! Didn't they just terrorize this country a few years ago.
This crap just gets better and better, I'm no Bible thumper at all, but old friends of mine have been talking about Rapture, barcode tattoos, watch the gay movement, and whats right will seem wrong and wrong become right, since i was a teen and all sorts of crap i forgot. I always said, they were full of shit. But i'm afraid to say they were right. Im sure its not coincidence. I have never before felt like my time was up and that we would actually be in a holy war / race war. I do believe we are there. Never-mind the elections, no matter who is in or out, this will get worse. But what really concerns me is we wont be able to drive our mustangs anymore with trash like AOC :-)

Problem is You have already been disarmed in your country, We are well underway, But people here are now "breaking the unconstitutional law" and finding banned items like AR15's large capacity mags, etc. We have lost confidence in the police defending us because of what the lawmakers are doing to them. So now it will come to arming ourselves at all costs, Including having to reluctantly go against our own (police) if they try to carry out disarming us and making us criminals for having large capacity mags with the illegal laws passed. At this point with lawmakers going against them will keep them looking the other way hopefully. It will come to a point where we will need to neutralize all domestic terrorists if this continues. BLM and the sympathizers will be the first to go if they come to us.
BY the way, when I say WE, i mean Americans. Not me, Im a former LEO and am very well and legally armed.

I'll be using a Mallory pump & regulator combo. I already have it but can't say about the noise level as its not installed yet.

Thanks
The spacers are drill guides. I attached them with JB Weld. I didn't want to screw them up trying to weld them as they were kinda pricey so I figured they would be fine once the bracket was bolted to the head (7/16-14 bolts). Don't think they're going anywhere.
I borrowed the Idea from

Making a mount for my coil to attach to the front of the left head.
I have to chase one of the weld nuts, got some weld on one of the screws when welding the weld nuts on. Ground the end of the screw off but it still messed up the threads a little. I plan on using SS button head screws instead of the black oxide socket head screws. Also adding 1/2 inch spacers to space the bracket away from the head a little.
