  1. Wilwood has kits for OE disk brake cars. Probably depends on whether the kit is same size as stock or if you're upgrading to bigger brakes. A quick call to Wilwood should get you an answer regardless.
  2. Went with the smaller round lights down below. Added cut outs for the LED Audi A4 front marker lights. Wet sanded with 230 wet and re-primed using some leftover spray bomb primer. Most of that will get sanded off.
  3. Stripes are a personal taste kinda thing. They look fine on 69s just not my taste. That gold car looks pretty sharp, more of a 70 style stripe. I say if you're considering stripes look at as many online as you can. If you see something that talks to you, duplicate it, if not don't do them. I didn't like the rocker stripes on my 06 so I took them off, however, I created rocker stripes for my 69 I will have done.
  4. Yup, should be parallel. The wheelbase being 108" and his left side measuring 109" and have a twisted shock tower sounds like the problem. I don't think shimming is going to fix being an inch out though. Maybe a frame shop can square it up.
  5. Thanks Bob! Don't think I'll be making another anytime soon. If I had more space than my tiny garage it wouldn't take so long to do but that's my own fault. I was concerned in the beginning it wouldn't look right but seeing it on the car at this stage (not quite done yet) confirms to me it blends well with the car's styling.Too many times in this hobby people tend to add trendy features to a car that doesn't blend well with it's styling. IE, Elanor features don't work with every year of mustang.
  6. Quick fit-up with brackets. Fenders are just sitting in place.
  7. Welcome to the site. Nice project. Sticking with the original color? There are many choices for the front suspension. Choice depends on how you'll use the car and to what degree. I haven't yet decided what I'm going to use on mine so I can't make a recommendation. There are many on here with varying experience and a wide variety of projects.

Those I show are long versions. There are short fitting versions. The long black fittings in my previous pic replace the short fitting in the the carb in the pic of my old carb below. Quick search on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-PACK-HOLLEY-CARBURETOR-FUEL-BOWL-INLET-FITTING-7-8-20-FITS-3-8-LINE-26-26/274331052982?epid=193547826&hash=item3fdf67abb6:g:9vgAAOSw3H1Z3i2n https://www.ebay.com/itm/Holley-Carb-Carburetor-Braided-Fuel-Line-Pressure-Regulator-Kit-4150-6AN/202916919129?hash=item2f3eca7759:g:LXsAAOSw0fFbcwJd https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dual-Feed-Fuel-Line-Log-6AN-Holley-Carburetor-BLUE-Stainless-Steel-34-600BL/193681730611?hash=item2d1854ac33:g:pRkAAOxycmBSv2Fl https://www.ebay.com/itm/AED-HOLLEY-CARBURETOR-POLISHED-STAINLESS-FUEL-LINE-KIT-650-750-DOUBLE-PUMP-BLUE/382769707137?epid=10017014067&hash=item591eda3881:g:Km4AAOSwV51cWbgS

Never had the occasion to replace one. This is what I got for a new 750 on ebay. You can find these in most parts suppliers, summit, jegs, cjpp, npd, etc. I'm sure if its different a little searching on the internet would get you what you want.
  10. Thanks, that's a possibility though I'd have to buy a rectangular pair. This is what I was thinking about mounting in the airdam. 4" diameter I also have these on hand, 3.25 diameter. Final shape achieved & primed. I'll wet sand the entire thing next with 320 grit and re-prime. Once I get everything smooth I'll spray with some KBS rust seal and SEP. Hopefully that will add a layer of chip protection to the fiberglass.
  11. Having second thoughts about fog light location. Too low? Maybe rectangular lights in lower opening?
  12. I've been hesitating spending money on my mustang lately. Don't know if I might need it for more necessity items with all the instability across the country and what will probably happen in November and beyond. Though I'm pretty well set, I might have to increase my family's security provisions.
  13. I'll be using a Mallory pump & regulator combo. I already have it but can't say about the noise level as its not installed yet.
  14. I use Cooper CS5 Grand Touring all season tires on my wife's car and Zeon RS3-GI all season high performance tires on my 11 mustang. I've never bought any Goodyear's in my life.
  15. That sucks. I'm pretty paranoid about hitting a deer or coyotes on the way to work as I'm on the road so early.
  16. Thanks, I do the best I can with what I have.
  17. Back on the lower nose. I think I'm done with getting the shape right on the airdam part. Primed it to get a good look at the shape and think I'm there. Need to sand it down with finer grits and skim coat to get a smoother finish.
  18. I'm really liking that front lower pan and spoiler/splitter.
  19. Well, got new body gaskets, this time Dynacorn brand off Ebay. They fit correctly but the quality is much less than the Daniel Carpenter chinese ones. Pits all over them, poor molding process. I'll probably hit it with some silicone when I install them.
  20. So, went to put the body gaskets on the taillights. Notice the offset of the upper right lens screw and housing clearance bump out. Notice the body gasket has symmetrical bumps. Called NPD to return them. These are Daniel Carpenter brand (made in china). Anyone know who has good correct fitting gaskets?
  21. I assembled the taillights after painting the trim. Letting the paint fully cure before adding the body gasket. Primed and painted the underside of the door panel top trim. Not sure what color I want to paint the top side, probably black.
  22. People rework the bumpers to achieve that tight fit and its been a trend throughout the car community for a few years cause its a cleaner, better look . What you see in the pictures above are normal rear bumper gaps.

    Riots

I cc to work everyday and the rest are loaded and ready if needed. I live on a dark street (no street lights) just off a main drag a couple blocks off a major intersection so its a concern. Actually in the process of installing security cameras I bought in November. Neighbor across the street is armed also. My wife saw on community fb page some (armed) residents are trying to get those interested in protecting the community connected in case people get really stupid and destructive.
  24. Excellent, go for it. Beware though when welding, the housings galvanized.
