  1. I was wanting to re-register as I have an old user account tied to an old email I no longer use. I tried to register but can't see the 6 characters in the image verification to complete my registration. I tried to contact someone there and guess what? You can't send them an email without verifying the 6 characters! I did a test registration on a couple other sites with no problem. Can someone contact them for me? If additional info is needed let me know. Thanks much!

  3. Not a picture but does this help? A lot of people replace it with the shelby scoops but I'm doing this:
  4. Any of the parts suppliers have the window gasket. Don't know that there is any difference. Attach the gasket to the glass. Use some cord wrapped around the gasket & window in the flange groove on the gasket. As your holding the window in place, use the cord to pull the rubber over the window flange. Use some silicone spray or WD40 to lube the gasket as you go so you don't cut the rubber with the cord and it also helps the rubber slide into place.
  5. Juice, The original lenses in the instrument cluster are blue. The lights give off a greenish glow probably due to being made of cheap plastic. Pak, I almost forgot, I have a 3D model of the Mach5 in solidworks that I downloaded from the net.
  6. I've got it, haven't used it in awhile. I have all kinds of Seed Racer stuff, t-shirt, poster, toy cars, DVDs playing cards.
  7. If no power at the connector, trace the wire on the diagrams back to the switch. If no power is coming out of the headlight switch for the dash lights, then the switch is bad. The headlight switch has a spring tab that rides across a resistor coil inbedded in the ceramic part of the switch. This dims the dash lights when the knob is rotated. The tab could possibly have worn or broke so it no longer makes contact or there may be a break in the resistance coil. All other lights may still function normally if nothing else is wrong.
  8. You might want to change the colored lenses inside your instrument cluster as the original ones tend to get brittle with age and fill with lots of cracks. At least mine did. That would cause the lights to be dimmer.

  11. That reworked firewall looks about 3-4" forward of where it shoud be. Will a V8 even fit in there now?

  13. Is the oil pan cast or sheetmetal? The Idea is not to have oil pooling in the pan so I would think adding fittings to the pan and plumbed to the external pump set up would be sufficient. I think typically there is a seperate scavange pump for each region (oil pan, lifter valley, etc). As bnickel said, google it and research the different systems and you should be able to figure out a system arrangement.

  15. There's 2 behind the dash, one for the turn lts & one for the 4-ways. One is to the left & one is to the right at the bottom center of the dash on the hooped stiffener.

  21. It appears its original to an aussie 302C as none were used in the US. It is probably the same part, only orange in color, as the 351C, 351M, 400M US piece. US 302s are windsors and have a different shape cover with the exception of the Boss 302s which as you know are a windsor block with cleveland heads.

    Can you say pricey?

This type of thing is a real pet peeve of mine, over hyping, over pricing and people that don't do a little research before selling. I suppose someone somewhere will overpay for this.
