  1. i think the 780cfm should work thats what im getting.
  2. Im debating if i should go with those raceline wheels or the fr500s (staggered) but i think after seeing them on your car.. i think racelines are calling my name. I even called and they said they can stagger them aswell. hrm... lol decision, decisions...
  3. nice build. my coupe is almost done. with the new cobra brake conversion im going with im debating wether to go stealth black fr500's or anthracite ones. as for the mini lights I would love to see those wheels on ur car with a staggered look. it would be a nice change i think.
  4. Well im building a 393 and the carb i went with was quick fuel 780cfm carb qft-ss-780-vs
  5. wow thats wierd and i agree who would want to paint over Carbon Fiber?... I was so interested in buying their CB front chin spoiler. hopefully you can send a pm to the guy that posted on this thread i believe he is the owner.

  7. Ooo wow that is a problem. Did u ask them why they kept trying to sell you fiber glass instead of carbon fiber? Maybe theres a problem with getting materials?

  9. This should help you http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/diylowerarm/ or u can go to a sheet metal shop and buy and cut the steel ur self and weld it. it would probably b cheaper if ur on a budget

  11. there are TONS of conversion kits out there you just need to do some research. for starters u can use the front and rear brakes/rotors from 94-04 from a gt or cobra, you just need to purchase an adapter plate this is if your doing both front and rear. there Versailles Rear brake conversion i don't have much experience with those

  13. hrm have you ever wanted to do an IRS swap from the 03-04 cobras?
  14. Jagsfans i think the best "easy mods" would be a nice K&N filter, intake and shorty headers with a nice 2 1/2 exhaust h-pipe. If you want to go the extra mile you can mildly port your Int/Exh on ur cyl heads and intake. also if you have low gears like mine 2:79's i recommend upgrade to a nice LS 3:55's to me thats a nice mild budget for u.
  15. many will ask you this, but i'll ask it: how much hp/tq do you want? do you want it to be street, strip, or road course? auto or manual? do you care about gas or not? basic mods are usually swapping out the carb, intake, headers thats a good start. if you want more power, I would recommend doing a rebuild with nice internals along with an edelbrock top end kit.
  16. cupid I am going to give them a call cuz i saw t45rs400 from them on ebay I emailed them and they said the transmission they sell would handle and I would have to notch the crossmember from my c-4. everything i would have to buy would be: yoke bellhousing (can buy a fairly cheap) fork (forgot to ask which forks are compatible with them. clutch cable purchase one from frpp or auto parts store. i have the Clutch pedal but i would have to mod it in order the pedal to fit which is no biggie.
  17. yeah i figured, also i have an opportunity to buy a Tremec 3550 w/ housing clutch etc.. BUT he is from Florida and its a 50/50 if its get though he specified that it has only less 1000miles but for a price it comes down to be way cheaper from keisler but i researched and got mixed reviews on the tq capacity. this car will only see street radials and the once in a while drag strip.
  18. Did u covert auto to manual? How much was the cost im assuming 4k
  19. hey everyone so i finally saved up money and now im debating if i should sell my Performance automatic "street fighter" c4 and go with a manual transmision above.. the engine i have is a 351w and stroking it to a 392w power in the range of 400-450hp most likely under 450. so a few questions come in to mind which transmission should i go with? I have plently of left over parts of a t5 which i can transfer over if i go with a t5z. the tremec/tko do i have to modify the tunnel in my 69 or massage it?? can i use the original driveshaft that was mounted on my PA c4 for now? also any other parts would i need? im sure im missing a few items for now it will be cable since i won't be able to afford the hydraulic clutch. i can get a discount on the clutch, and already have the clutch pedal also i have a brake booster. anyways any advice or tips
  20. 351w and stroke it to 392 thats what im going to do with my set up
  21. Matt, welcome to the forums. I love the carbon fiber face gauge cluster but I am curious if you will make a custom Gauge Cluster where we can install our own Gauges to our liking. the only products out there are YEAR ONES DIY gauge Cluster, and JME complete cluster, I was wondering if you would ever think about making a gauge cluster for the budget minded enthusiast. also it would be nice if you created wheels as well such i.e fr500 wheels that would fit our years :) lol once i save more money ill be purchasing some of you C.F parts :)
  22. agreed, most repos are good just they need to be tweaked to fit the car properly.
  23. well both are going to get worked on and adjusted when in the bodyshop, the ford tooling means it stamped like the original so fitment would be on point rather than the non tooling one where it will need a little more work fitting on your mustang but it shouldnt be that bad unless they send you like a honda crx hood or something lol..
  24. yeah I have to agree. The clips are cheap and easily brake off. I had to reuse the original clips I had laying around and it worked great.
